Overlapped frames
Ilford Selochrome, expired 1970
Just for kicks I inserted the 6x6cm mask on my Holga, loaded some expired film and set the counter to 16 exposures instead of 12. This is one of the overlapping frames.
Expired Fujichrome NPC 160 on Holga 120N
The nice people at Panda Lab not only did a swell job developing this roll but even separated and scanned some of the overlapping frames and included them on the CD. I thought that was very sweet of them, don't you? :)
This is one of the single frames but you can still appreciate a bit of the overlapping on the left side. I have a different version of this with three overlapped frames that I'll upload in future.

Self developed overlapped double exposures on expired Fomapan 400 film loaded into an Olympus om10, demonstrating two different Splitzers with the same camera settings.

Sad clown on my desk. I have no idea where it came from originally, but it has been sitting there for years.

Double exposure accidentally overlapped onto another frame on the backside of Lomography Lomochrome purple film loaded into an Olympus om10.
Holga overlapping exposures of what seem to me to be images very emblematic of Southcentral Alaskan/rural roadsystem Alaska.
Homer spit and a field near Ninilchik.

Self developed double exposed overlapped frames on lomography lady grey 400 film loaded in Olympus om10.
I think this should be used as a photoillustration for a story about cyclists killed in traffic.
Double-exposure Holga pic/s done in Brooklyn. That's Osquitar on the bike.
Pictober day 18 - Develop
One of the joys of film photography is that one is never quite sure what one will find lurking in the developing reel.
(Critter is compliments of my son, the evil gamemaster.)

I found out that my Konica Auto-Reflex has a frame overlapping problem. Especially when switching back and forth between half and full frame.
Holga cameras are like little magic makers--I love them. And I love Brooklyn. And I love that man on that bike.

A collaborative photo--I took the first exposure and Oscar took the second exposure (of me, holding deathly still for a whole minute). I LOVE what came out.
Providenciales Island in Turks & Caicos for my mom's 60th birthday trip
Holga
Happy Holga accidents make for nice montages of a city. Oscar and I in the streets of Firenze (I set it up and asked Carlotta to take it), the very amazing Duomo behind us. Transposed is a photo of a wall in Firenze right outside of the Uffizi museum on a small street. I was stunned by the artistry--in a classical European style gone modern-- of the graffiti there.
The Homer spit that juts out into Kachemak Bay in Southcentral Alaska. The strange, left-behind things we find there.
An accident of switching cameras part-way through the roll..but a pretty fun accident. Behind Oscar--my brand new, at the time, husband--and our dog Chino are our friends on a hike the day after the wedding.
Me at Ship Creek (which is fuller and faster than I ave ever seen it) in North Anchorage, Alaska. The Dena'ina Athabascan word for the Anchorage area, Deghaytnu, refers specifically to the area around Ship Creek and means, if my memory is correct, something about the place for catching sticklebacks. When I am down here by Ship Creek, I am more aware of the Dena'ina history of this land than usual, which I like.
