One very frigid mid-west morning last month in Overland Park Kansas a co-worker who hails from Long Island ventured to the Prairiefire section of Overland Park to see and get some images of the Museum at Prairiefire, a beautiful museum with unique architecture that opened in 2014. It was cold but was glad we braved the elements as the Museum at Prairiefire did not disappoint. The stained glass gives the outside of the Museum a unique look and did not disappoint. The museum was closed obviously because my co-worker and I arrived just as the sun was rising as we needed to get to work on that same day. - [x] #developportdev @gothamtomato @developphotonewsletter @omsystem.cameras #excellent_america #omsystem @bheventspace @bhphoto @adorama @tamracphoto @tiffencompany #usaprimeshot #tamractales @kehcamera @mpbcom #omd #microfourthirds #micro43photography @visitthemap @visitoverlandpark @visitkansas

Still in Kamloops, I decided to work on the Overlander Bridge, and try to make something of it. As it turned out, the shapes rather than the bridge itself, made the most interesting of the images taken. Creating a kind of window and framing the landscape beyond, resulted in the most compelling of the work that day.
It is also satisfying that the water is back in the Thompson River. For some time now, one could walk quite far out onto sand bars, leaving us wondering about water levels. But, plenty of rain and cooler temperatures seemed to have helped current conditions.

and the front... sun was setting fast, not sure I got exactly the photo which captures my joy at glancing over as I'm driving and taking in the scene, just magic!

I think the healthy sounding 14litre Cummins was pushing out a good deal more than 270hp!

A forest fire burns for its thrid consecutive day on the other side of Lake Cascade. I almost did not go down to the beach because the sky had been cloudless all day. However, the smoke ascended to a certain height and was then being blown by winds at a high altitude..
This is viewed from the northern end of the lake on the opposite shore (Donnelly, Idaho)..

It's 112F here today and humid (that's around 40C). Standing here waiting for a the right car to pass made my camera almost too hot to hold and it malfunctioned soon after and shut itself down without warning.
A local treasure filled with walking trails, flowers, wildlife, sculpture from local artists and a Chinese sculpture garden, all for a paltry $3 (used to be free).
I used the 3D portion of Photoshop and placed the picture on "cube wraps." It does the harder work for you. If I had a 3D printer I could make a nice little doodad. :) Happy Sunday!
Photo taken at the sim created by Jade K.oltai, a peaceful and a bit somber feel here - lovely place to visit and sit for awhile.
Sim's name is Overland Hills - I will no longer post links/slurls here as my acct was deleted before from things like this, sorry. I provide links and SLURLs at my Primfeed.
Willys Overland Crossley radiator. Must have been made before 1934 when the company wound up. Still looked serviceable.
