When I was on the road for my redo for Flickr Fridy, I cycled on to Broekerhaven. A place that could have used too. The overhaul, with which boats from a lower-lying polder are transferred to the higher waters of the harbor.
Toen ik op pad was voor mijn redo voor Flickr Fridy, ben ik even doorgefietst naar Broekerhaven. Een plaats die ook ook had kunnen gebruiken. De overhaal, waarmee bootjes uit lager gelegen polder worden overgezet naar het hoger gelegen water van de haven.

Recently overhauled CP 6024 leads the Northfield over the Robert Street Lift Bridge. 6024 looks extra spiffy as it still retains its class lights and original number boards. The crew even had the white class lights on, although it's hard to tell during the middle of the day.

After a five-year overhaul, extended because of Covid-19, Great Western Railway 7812 ‘Erlestoke Manor’ returned to Severn Valley heritage railway metals on 2nd December 2022.
This shot is a flashback to October 2017 with 'Erlestoke Manor', a Great Western Railway Collett 7800 Manor class 4-6-0, crossing Oldbury Viaduct on the SVR on a very gloomy day. The loco is carrying a Cambrian Coast Express headboard.
7812 was named after the Manor at Erlestoke, a village near Devizes in Wiltshire. Built at Swindon Works, it was delivered new to Bristol Bath Road depot in January 1939.
CSX B77220 rounds the curve at Dawson on the Mountain Subdivision behind a freshly overhauled pair of SD70ACs. Fall colors are starting to pop on the distance hillside, nicely complimenting the shiny paint on these two EMDs. The B772 is bringing Q316's train into Cumberland, as the manifest was running late and the original crew ran out of hours upon reaching Keyser.

With my ongoing overhaul of the slide collection I found some Guilford stuff that I long since forgot about. I never shot the P&LE but for the short time I lived in "New England" I saw a few of their units that were on a run-through coal train coming from mines in southwestern PA to the power plant at Bow, New Hampshire. Reeds Ferry is on the old Boston & Maine New Hampshire Division main line that ran north out of Boston to White River Junction. Trailing the two P&LE units is a former Detroit Edison SD40 that GTI purchased.
Union Pacific GE ES44AC No. 7761 and EMD GP40-2 No. 1383 are being overhauled at the railroad’s Downing B. Jenks Shop at North Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 18, 2015.
No snow, but still nice clouds to give that dramatic look at the freshly overhauled 46 040 of BDZ Cargo. Leading a sulphuric acid train from Pirdop to the Port of Burgas on a day when the sun was kind to us.

Newly overhauled Horden leaves east tanfield up the bank with the first train of the day with some autumn colours beginning to show in the trees
Freshly overhauled and turned out in the early British Railways livery, Stanier 'Black Five' 4-6-0 44932 approaches Seascale with the 1Z87 13:33 Carlisle to London Euston 'Cumbrian Coast Express' on Saturday 24th September 2022. After hearing it setting off from the Sellafield water stop and approaching Seascale along the coast 'Black Five' on a full rake of maroon Mk1 coaches in low sunlight on the Cumbrian Coast line is a memory to cherish.

Recently overhauled electric locomotive 30163 glows in the morning sun outside its repair depot in Palmerston North.
This the first of 15 planned EF class overhauls and will soon be ready for mainline use after a few more test runs.
An overhauled EMD SD75M leads BNSF Train X ARKLMS9 26S past CP Rose just west of Parkville on the BNSF St. Joseph Sub. These aren't very common leaders in this area, so it's always nice to catch on on the point. Better than another orange GE. I think these look really slick in the "Heritage 4" paint scheme with the black trucks. I wish they were all painted this way.

Fresh from overhaul and repaint the 37 thrashes up the Vale of York racetrack and passes the 'Edinburgh 200 Miles' sign. A down HST has just got out of the way in the nick of time and 'The Sidings' restaurant and hotel is located above the rear of the train. Once a solid class 40 turn this working changed to a class 37 in the early 80s.

DC Rail Freight 56103 hauls Chiltern Railways DVT 82301 past West Ealing, 5Q20 0814 from Bristol Barton Hill W.R.D. to Wembley Lmd. The Chiltern DVT had visited Barton Hill for maintenance / overhaul.
In an odd turn of events, BNSF ended up buying 100% (read: both) of Texas-Mexican's GP60 fleet, including this one, which is now their no. 198. It has been in Topeka for a few months now, and appears to have completed its class overhaul. Soon, it will head out for a new coat of paint, replacing the Vermont Railway red that it has been wearing since it arrived on the property in 2011.
At first glance, external items that have changed include the headlights, horn, plow, and front battery box cover.

That's what you get when you combine negligence with ignorance. People living there were relocated, the place waits for an overhaul planned for the next year.
Recently overhauled and painted SD40-2 1663 is still holding down one half of the Range Rocket power set as it leads green sister 1953 into Keenan Yard while en route to Minorca with four bentonite loads.
EN: 25 locomotives of the type Re620 will receive a major overhaul in order to operate the locomotives until at least 2035. The overhaul will cost over one million CHF and will be performed at the Bellinzona maintenance facility.
The 6-axle locomotives, which were introduced from 1972, were long considered the backbone of heavy freight traffic in Switzerland. Until the opening of the Gotthard base tunnel, they mostly ran heavy freight trains on the north-south axis together with a Re 4/4 II. Today the 7.8 MW locomotives are mainly used for gravel and oil transport. Originally 89 locomotives were manufactured by SLM, BBC and SAAS.
In the morning of 13.11.2020 the Re620 071, completed on 21.10.2020, transported a heavy gravel train from Hüntwangen to Heerbrugg.

Die 6achsigen Lokomotiven, welche ab 1972 eingeführt wurden, galten lange als Rückgrat für den schweren Güterverkehr in der Schweiz. Bis zur Eröffnung des Gotthard Basistunnels führten sie meist zusammen mit einer Re 4/4 II schwere Güterzüge auf der Nord-Süd-Achse. Heute werden die 7.8 MW Lokomotiven hauptsächlich im Kies und Oelverkehr eingesetzt. Ursprünglich wurden 89 Loks von SLM, BBC und SAAS hergestellt.
Am Morgen des 13.11.2020 transportierte die am 21.10.2020 fertiggestellte Re620 071 einen schweren Kieszug von Hüntwangen nach Heerbrugg.

Two of Didcot Railway Centre's long term restoration projects stand outside the shed. 6023 "King Edward II" is awaiting overhaul having been brought back into steam in 2011. 4079 "Pendennis Castle" returned to operation earlier this year for the first time since its return to the UK in 2000.

During the summer of 2020 the state passenger operator in Bulgaria - BDZ announced that it will do a major overhaul of two of the narrow gauge locomotives which run on the Rhodope 760mm narrow gauge railway from Septemvri to Dobrinishte. The order was won by Express service - a Bulgarian locomotive manufacturer and service-station, based in Ruse, Bulgaria. On 01.12.2020 the first of both locomotives - 77 002-4 was loaded on a special platform for its transportation from Septemvri depot to the service-station in Ruse. On 02.12.2020 the locomotive began its long journey form Septemvri via Sofia and Mezdra to Ruse, being pulled by locomotive 55 212-5, owned by Express service. When the overhaul is completed, 77 002-4 will be returned to Septemvri and the next locomotive will be transported to Ruse.
Recently overhauled Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2 41312 passes the permanent way hut at Bishops Sutton on the Mid-Hants Railway with a freight train during a Matt Allen/Warwick Falconer photo charter.

Return of the last trip on a special train around Chemnitz, just before the general overhaul.
After many yearsin isolation PIMK bring this locomotive back to life. The company bought the loco from the State railway operator and made a completely overhaul. So, now 07 077 will work on the non-electrified lines and branches.
Three EMD locomotives in different stages of overhaul sit outside on the huge Downing B. Jenks Locomotive Shop at North Little Rock, Arkansas, on the afternoon of May 19, 2015. GP38-2 No. 689 and SD40-2 No. 3361 are in the middle of rebuilds, with the 3361 being transformed into a SD40N. In the background is freshly-repainted SD70M No. 4895.

The A4 is temporarily carrying LNER's WW2 black livery while undergoing running in trials after overhaul.
In the midst of an overhaul, there are a lot of parts missing from the rear half of USSC 502. Among other things, the new prime mover is to the left and the locomotive's long hood is sitting on the ground off to the back right.
The shop tour was organized by the FEC Historical Society.

Slava Mk2 Class Heavy Battlecruiser (Slava = Glory, Russian)

An update to the old Slava Class Cruiser. A complete overhaul in everything. First designed and laid down in 2028, the Slava Mk2 is one of the most advanced warships of it's time.
Equipped with a large array of electronic equipment. A new superstructure and hull design allows a much more stealthy design. Connection to satellites, new guidance systems, new age cruise missile control systems and much more powerful radar and sonar systems allow this ship to rule the seas easily. Even though it is almost two times longer than the original Slava, it has nearly half the crew due to advancements in AI technology.
It now features a much larger airforce. The Slava Mk2 is not just a naval cruiser, it is also a powerful air control and ground attack platform, unlike the underpowered and lowtech Slava.

Freshly overhauled 37099 "Merl Evans 1947-2016" is working top & tail with 37607 as they pass Ratcliffe on Soar with the 1Q90 1514 Derby RTC - Ferme Park PLPR2 test train which will run via Cambridge , Liverpool Street, Hertford, Chingford, Enfield and Barking on 24th Feb 25.....The now closed Ratcliffe Power Station remains intact as a fine backdrop from another era
