Lately, nothing has me quite as giddy as the return of the pocketed cargo pants. Much like the people who wore these utilitarian bottoms back in the day, cargo pants have returned as a very popular casual fashion staple. Sure, they still skew towards baggy and feature patched pockets, but they've branched out from khaki and camo to now also include cool denims, metallics, and neons.
When it comes to cargo pants here in SL, the game has also undergone a major change. These denim Linda Foodiboo Patty cargo pants are a great example – remixing the look and elevating its design.

Another stunningly beautiful day in my backyard. The temperature outside is minus 9 - but the bright sun heralds spring. Sunrise was at 7:58 this morning and the sun will set at 5:53 tonight, for an additional 5 minute and 57 second gain today. Add the twilight hours and we can actually see our surroundings for 11 plus hours today. Now that's a sure sign that spring is heading our way. I can't wait to shed myself of my heavy outerwear.

A kitten, tired of all the tumbling, climbing and jumping, stretched on the fleece blanket and promptly fell asleep.
Cats can look like there is nothing in life but cozy pleasure... a snooze, a stretch... LOL
Fleece is a man-made wonder product, if there is such a it is 100% synthetic and derived from plastic rather than a fluffy sheep’s coat – despite being fuzzy to the touch.
The super soft, warm and breathable nature of this magic material makes it perfect for outerwear and all things cosy.
Some fleece is even made from recycled plastic bottles.

Candid eye contact street photography from East Kilbride, Scotland. Captured during my weekly exercise walk and probably much closer than 2 metres but I was wearing full PPE and all of my outerwear goes straight into a 60 degree wash when I get home. We live in exceptional times and I want you all to stay safe.
Manna put on her outerwear, said thank yous and left. After the door was closed, she smiled: maybe this wasn't too bad, after all.
It was dusk already out there, and Manna started her way home with a relieved mind. Whatever happens when it comes to that job, at least she did her best.
Dad has been gone for a few years but I got his old boots and coat out, to photograph these articles of clothing, strange how many things come into mind holding a boot.

Happy to be back home again after spending a week in the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. It is an iconic place, especially for photographers, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to go.
Norway in winter is most definitely a land of contrasts: Sheer, hard-rock faces of saw-toothed mountains surrounded by soft pillows of snow-covered fields, warm yellow sunsets reflecting off of frigid cold waters in the Norwegian Sea, soft pink light on unforgiving jagged slopes, and bright red Norwegian rorbus hinting at shelter from brisk winds carrying snow, sleet, and rain. And there is ice. Lots and lots of ice!
I am grateful to those who have gone before me, bringing us great outerwear like Baffin, Kahtoola, Arctyrx, Heat Company, and Fjällräven. Cold weather is challenging to photograph in, but with the right gear...
Well, it is still f-ing cold!! About -10F in this image, but the right clothing certainly helps! 😄 The Norwegian Sea, being about 50 degrees Fahrenheit warmer, steams in the bitter cold.
