My favorite shot of the night out of the game pictures from yesterday's Helsinki Ice Challenge: HIFK's Erik Thorell celebrating his goal that tied the game at 3-3, with only a minute left in the game. The snowfall makes the whole scene look picture perfect for an outdoor game.

Kanamachi is a traditional and popular games of Bangladesh.
A number of children stand in a circle. one of them becomes the kanamachi ( Blind Fly). He/ she called so because a piece of cloth is tied over his/her eyes and cannot see. The children then gradually increase the circle and the kanamachi runs after the others trying to touch one of them, as if buzzing around haphazardly like a fly. The children shout out the rhyme "Kanamachi Bho Bho, Jake pabi take chho" (কানামাছি ভো ভো, যাকে পাবি তাকে ছোঁ ) it means, Buzzing fly catch whoever you can.
The person who is touched has to be identified by name. If correctly identified, he/she becomes the new Kanamachi and it goes on.
More funny toys at the local Fairground. Pick the right one, you may win a prize. Most of these things were aimed at young kids. These little toys in water were so colourful.

Last night HIFK held it's preparation practice at Kaisaniemi Park for tonight's Helsinki Ice Challenge outdoor game against Kärpät.
It was snowing quite heavily for a while during the 'Ulkojäät 2016' outdoor game's first period last saturday and it gave the pictures a unique look.
After 3 hours of a very hard hike for everyone, pilot Felix Rodriguez fly in tandem with cameraman Lois Simac to get the shot during Outdoor Games 2010.

Eight years ago, I captured this heartwarming moment in a park where two friends in school uniforms, engaged in carefree outdoor play. One took on the role of a spirited horse while the other, with an infectious smile, encouraged the make-believe adventure with enthusiastic calls of 'go go.'
Reflecting on this cherished photo, it reminds us of how kids used to have fun playing outside with friends. But nowadays, it's rare to see kids playing outside like that. Most of the time, they're busy with phones, tablets, and video games. They're in their own world, and they miss out on the joy of making friends and playing outside.
