Hope all of you my friends are ok and wish you a great friday xoxoxo
@I was away from flickr last days because i went to the north Portugal for 3 days mini vacations and i thought i will have internet there but I stayed in a water mill and it was so rural place that it looks i return to the past. No mobile,no internet no TV. I felt strange without this things we are used in ourdays. But it was wonderful to enjoin the nature and being in peace.
I decided to upload this photo not of its impressive quality, but just because I wanted to share with you something I didn't know till recently and shocked me.
This bird called Northern Bald Ibis. It has extincts from europe since the 17th century, and now the estimated population in the wild is bellow 700 of them.
I captured this bird in "Attika Zoological Park" in Athens , Greece, where they care and reintroduce this species into the wild .
In ourdays, Northern Bald Ibis thrives only in zoos all over the europe , with a population that exceeds 1200 birds. This manage through breeding programs.
The success of these european programs led to the idea of
releasing birds in the wild with the help of zoos.
I want to congrats all these people who cares for the nature.
I was inspired of a layout using lots and lots of squares. I love squares, so this was a perfect layout to scrap lift. I spent way to much time finding the perfect papers, but I love all the colors. I used a few photos from today and some from last year. I forgot to date the layout, ops.
I jounal about a normal day and what's happening when. But off course I also have to add that usually the days aren't all that normal, so we roll with it as best as we can.... (the vertical journaling lines).

After film Monstro I was inspired for creating few screenshots about the end of ourdays world... so, here it is :) Two heroes, who are trapped with this violent dogs... or they aren't dogs? Hmm... August and Jemma. They were pretty happy before the end of time!
Finished the bottle and relatively happy. I decide to eat while I can, having only consumed a piece of string cheese and a bowl of cereal since 6:15.
From the Coulter family photo album, courtesy Hans Niehaus.
Fred and Agnes Stephens owned The Homestead at Oranjezicht from 1907-1947. Their three sons were killed in the First World War. These photographs of a fund raising event in Cape Town, October 18-21, 1917, were taken by Charles Coulter who was married to the Stephens's fourth child, Alice. His photo album was found among his papers when Coulter's law firm was being wound up and rescued by Hans Niehaus - to whom thanks for allowing me to re-photograph a selection of the pics, and to Patricia Davison for putting me on to them.
