Pamukkale, Denizli province of southwestern Turkey is a natural position. Urban spas and terraces flowing waters of the carbonate minerals, travertine covers. In the Aegean region of Turkey, the Menderes River valley has a temperate climate.
Ancient city of Hierapolis, the total length of 2700 meters, 600 meters wide and 160-meter-high white "castle" was built on. Pamukkale, Denizli, 20 km distant from the hills on the opposite side of the valley can be seen in the center. 5-10 km located near the ancient city of Laodicea. 5 km ahead of the international thermal center of the village, which has kale. Eski Hierapolis kenti, toplam 2700 metre uzunluğunda, 600 metre genişliğinde ve 160 metre yüksekliğindeki beyaz "kalenin" üzerine inşa edilmişti. Pamukkale, Denizli'nin 20 km uzaktaki merkezindeki vadinin karşı tarafındaki tepelerden görülebilir. 5-10 km yakınında Laodikya antik kenti bulunur. 5 km ilerisinde ise uluslararası bir termal merkez olan Karahayıt köyü vardır. Pamukkale UNESCO tarafından belirlenen Dünya Miras Listesi`nde yer almaktadır.
Turizm başlıca endüstridir. İnsanlar binlerce yıldır havuzlarında yıkanmıştır. Daha 20. yüzyılın ortalarında, Heropolis kalıntıları üzerine, önemli hasara neden olan oteller yapıldı. Vadiden terasların üstüne bir yaklaşım yolu yapıldı, ve motosikletlerin yamaçlara çıkmalarına ve inmelerine izin verildi. Bölgenin bir dünya miras mevkisi olduğu bildirildiğinde, oteller yıkıldı, yol kaldırıldı ve yapay havuzlar ile yeri değiştirildi. Suyun içinde ayakkabı giymek katmanları korumak için yasaklandı.

In the past the camels slept in the stalls on the ground floor, the owners slept on the first floor in small rooms.
This large Ottoman caravanserai, formerly called Delliler Hani (Caravanserai of the Guides, who showed pilgrims around), built in 1521-27, is now transformed into a hotel.
Originally it had 72 rooms, 17 shops and stabling for over 800 camels and was a stopover on the Silk Road en route to Syria.
The spacious courtyard with its mature trees and colourful flowers offers a wonderful retreat from the city bustle. The rooms are set on the upper floor as they would originally have been for the merchants. Rooms are small but airconditioned and have very good en-suite bathrooms.
In the second courtyard at the back away from the street there is a very fine swimming pool.

Alibey adası yani Cunda'nın en nezih otellerinden biri Ortunç otel. Kendine ait özel bir koyu var. Plajı da güzel. Lokantası çok iyi. Odaları harika ama biraz pahalı. Üstelik rezervasyonda okadar kolay değil çünkü çok rağbet görüyor. Yani erken rezervasyon istediğiniz tarihte bu tesiste yer bulabilmek adına önemli.

Gökçeada'nın her yerinde bir çok konaklama tesisi bulabilirsiniz. İnsanlar daha ziyade pansiyonları ve bulabilirlerse kiralık daireleri tercih ediyor ama oteller boş değil tabii. Özellikle Kaleköy çevresinde sezonda bu otellerde yer bulmak biraz zor.
Taş ev olarak yapılmış Eflin Butik otel de Yukarı Kaleköy'ün gözde mekanlarından biri. Bahçesinin manzarası güzel.
