My photo club had an exhibition and reception at the Ossining Public Library today. When I walked outside at the end the sun was beginning to set.
The Sing Sing Kill Greenway trail spans almost half a mile one way. The trail, which is ADA compliant, is within a gorge that showcases its rocky wall. The trail was opened in 2016, but its history is much older. Named after the tribe of Native Americans that lived in the area, the Sint Sincks, the kill or creek is a tributary which runs to the Hudson River.
Metro-North Railroad P32AC-DM no. 201 is seen leading Hudson Line train 8823 out of Ossining Station, passing the former New York Central Railroad power substation just north of the station.
