Inaugurated in 1950, Oslo City Hall is the city's administrative body and the seat of the City Council.
The building has been decorated by great Norwegian art from 1900-1950, with motifs from Norwegian history, culture and working life.
Carillon concerts on the first Wednesday of every month at 1 pm.

This is Oslo seen from the harbor (Aker Brygge).
The two brick towers to the left is the town hall and you can see the fortress to the right (Akershus Festning).
In the middle and behind is the main streets and the center of Oslo.

They are on the move to the islands in the fjords and to a place called Nesodden.
Lots of people are travelling out to the small islands to enjoy swimming and barbequing.
It has been so dry for weeks now, so barbeque isn't allowed, but it's nice even tho to travel out to these islands.
All the yachts are pretty cool to watch too, some of them are pretty big.
Anchoring at AkerBrygge must be pretty nice for them, it's full of life here all season, lots of restaurants with various food.
It's indeed very nice.
