Een heide foto van vorig jaar die ik bewerkt heb met het Orton effect.
Thanks for your visit, comments and/or faves.
I worked with the orton effect in Dynamic Photo HDR. It's based on a single jpg. Comments are welcome.
This did not start out as a close up. It's a severely cropped image which didn't hold up very well in the original cropping, so I tried several different painterly type techniques, none of which gave me what I wanted, and then I gave the Orton effect a try, and finally I like it.
HSS!
What to do if an image you really like is a bit soft?
Why, overcook the Orton effect like crazy and call it "Creative" off course.
questa era una versione di un altra foto già pubblicata nel mio stream... ma come al solito non ne ero soddisfatto.. :)
Here is a shot I don't do often and it does not really strike my fancy: Down hill water. I don't know why, but I'd rather see waterfalls going up stream. I liked this one for the foggy sky. Instead of having the foreground devolve into a misty background, I darkened up the foreground, have it dissolve so to speak into the background, but still have that misty quality.
4L99 Lawley St to Felixstowe. Class 66 in Freightliner green/yellow livery heads south towards Coleshill with an Intermodal bound for the port of Felixstowe. Seen here looking a little weatherd passing under the beautiful old stone station of Water Orton.
another shot of the Chamomile flowers cascading down the little hill--I added a touch of an Orton Effect for a little drama.
another from the altamont hills with a bit of orton and textures tossed about ... i feel like my life has been tossed about too, lately, but i'll try and get caught up soon ...
have a great weekend!
6G65 Hope (Earles Sidings) Fhh to Walsall Freight Terminal. Class 70 locomotive, has been repainted into Freightliner's new "60th Anniversary" livery, also referred to as the "G&W orange livery." This livery celebrates Freightliner's 60th anniversary, which is in 2025. The locomotive was first seen in this new livery in May 2025 and is seen here on the approach to Water Orton with a rake of loaded Cement Tanks.

52 weeks of 2016 - week 13 Orton Effect. Didn't think I could manage to get this theme done, tried my best, lots of attempts, best of a poor bunch I think.
