Iberia EC-LVD on finals to ORK with a charter from Madrid.
© Finbarr O'Neill
Still not like the GW model, but like one found in the web. Basically still playing with shape and enchancing the chassis - which still holds a battery box, 3 PF-medium motors and IR receiver without hampering the look.
Which one do you like more?
Which is cooler?
Which is orkier?
The wait is over! It's as Orky as I can possibly make it, it fell apart multiple times while I was photographing it, and it's finally done! It's also RED! That's right, RED! I built in COLOR! This is also my entry for the Junk Mecha contest over on Mecha Hub. I figured nothing fit the category better than an Ork Mech, and no Ork Mech was quite as much fun as a Killa Kan. I'd also like to note that the main body was almost entirely overhauled since the WIP shot. It's now closer to fig scale (Still WAY oversized), and looks like it actually fits it's parts now.
Oh, and one last thing: It's based, like a real 40k model would be :D

I can't really say either it's a Killa Kan or a Deff Dread... I wasn't trying to replicate any particular GW model. But I can say I'm absolutely not happy with this model. I mean, I made that angry looking head/body, those claws and that chaotic rokkit launcha... And then, when I put them all together... There's even no room for a proper snotling pilot! Ah, orkish piece of art, I guess! I'll be building more of these, here is my main reference, tell me what you think about both this model and my choice for the next Lego WH40K creation.
Last matchup was kinda biased towards Orks... this might be kinda biased towards Marine(s).
Of course when there will be a full squad of 3 Kanz, things might look grim for the ancient warror...
Aside from that - what do you think about new product of my local Mek?
Another of these little "don't ask - it just happened" MOCs.
Observant eye will find a strong reference to an old mmorpg game. I wonder if someone will guess which one? :)

Finally, something non-humanoid! Like all warmachines, this one has working features - you can see it in action here: imgur.com/a/Z2JC3
ORK 27/08/20 Built 2011. Parked up at Cork among other company aircraft at Cork due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Nobody had ever considered that the orks would be the first to conquer the skies.
As per usual, it's a geared model! The top and rear rotors as well as the control wheel thingy all rotate in unison via a hidden gear on the underside!

It has been a while... new Flickr has successfully killed my desire to do anything much online... I did have some figs that I hadn't uploaded that my sons nagged me to add in an attempt to get me going again.
20080504_8079_1D3-38 ORKS
A group of us were on a photo trip up in the Erewhon area of central Canterbury (NZ) when one of the fellows said "look, the clouds are spelling letters". We all snapped a few pics and to me this spells ORKS.
Now ORCS (different spelling) are creatures in the Lord of the Rings, and here is the kicker. We were on a Lord of the Rings tour and about to visit the sight of Edoras in the movie. The lower slopes of Edoras are just visible to the right of this scene.

Had hoped they’d be 5”,but they’re actually 3.75”.
Only one has articulation in its legs. The rest don’t and are difficult to stand.

About 15th version and first that might have sense.
Again, legs are the problem... any idea how to make them more rounded?
Anyway, some people tell me that it is very bad (and hiding behind a "no idea why though" wall), so I need criticism. Just tell me if there is anything you don't like. ZAND3R for example doesn't like the sticker and that is a good thing, because it tells me something, however there is no better solution so it stays. There might be something in the ork that can be fixed - so feel free to butcher it, throw crap at it, so ultimately, it will be done better ;>
Based on this particular model, even though I took some liberties here and there, so it's not completely identical. I guess it's most evident with those exhaust pipes that are like half the original size.
These look promising. And fully brickbuilt, no cheats this time.
Tomorrow I'll try to print a sticker for green head.
Closeups, as promised.
3 Killa Kans along with few boyz with Rokkits are going to be my anti-vehicle choice for Orks... in the future. So far I am completely out of DBG pieces so this is literally the last thing I built until my orders come.
I am also wondering if I shouldn't make the motorbikes grey-based too.
To tell the truth, it's more of a sneak peak than anything else, since they are not 100% complete. I was aiming for a maximum accuracy possible, but my lack of Lego time damaged those plans quite badly. I'm going to redo legs for the one on the right and to add some more believable detailing later on. And also to show what makes them so special, so I won't tell for now ;)
A bow to Jerac for there are lots of bitz inspired with his awesome creations!
Ork Bikerz gang went yellow!
Say whatever you want, in my opinion yellow bikes >>> gray/red bikes. I had a feeling that they were the weakes part of Ork army and I hope this issue has been finally solved ;)
