Due to the impossibility of being able to shout out directions to surgeons while under the spell of general anaesthetic, it is advisable to leave some notes. we thought so anyway.

**UPDATE** it has now been one year since william's left nut went to testicle heaven, and i am happy to report he is still performing circus tricks and wrestling alligators while doing yardwork. the following is an important message from him that he would like you to hear and obey. since i don't have any sacks filled with jiggly sexual organs of my very own dangling from my crotch i thought i would at least help spread the word:
This day, April 25, shall be henceforth referred to as testicle appreciaton day, during which everyone is encouraged to examine their own set, or if you don't have any, a set belonging to a special friend. It is my hope that by next year, everyone you know will be taking the day off to look at, feel up, and generally spend some quality time with testicles. These examinations should be fun, they should be thorough and they should include whipped cream or something. Mostly though, they should be in search of lumps and masses commonly associated with cancer. If you do not know how to search your nuts for lumps and masses i will briefly explain:
* a lump feels like a very small lump.
* a mass feels like a very small lump.
* most men are equipped with a non-cancerous cyst housed at the bottom of the epydidimes. do not fret if you find one there, your nuts are still awesome.
In addition to lumps look for uncommon variation in size, shape and hardness. Get yourself examined if you notice anything out of the orinary. Testicular cancer tends to be painless and thus very sneaky. On this day you should test everything out a few times just to make sure all the plumbing is operational. Show them off to people on the streets if you like, testicle day can be a great way for children and law enforcement officials to be made aware of the beauty of your junk.
check his cancery set for what you can avoid by giving your bad boys the once-over today
I met a buddy on the way to Lazy Beach. They’re not too keen on dogs around here, and there are quite a few on the island.

Usei:
2 camadinhas cobriram bem as unhas.

Bronze by Thomas J. Price.
This work belongs to a series of nude male figures Price named after streets in London. Street names often celebrate powerful white men of the pas, like Dutch explorer Abel Tasman. By contrast, this figure speaks not of dominance but instead carries a sense of vulnerablitiy in his nudity, posture and scale. Yet through his stoic expression and honesty, this 'orinary man' quietly asserts his presence in the gallery space.

this is no orinary light bulb, but one designed by katie paterson to emanate the light of the moon as part of the mystics or rationalists exhibition at the edinburgh art festival 2011

I liked the pattern.
Jean Luc and Andries could never understand the compulsive way I would snap at anything I liked the look of. I explained that i was the combination of a flaneur with flickr-itis. It is my way of experiencing a place. when I take a picture of something, I get to own a small fragment of the beauty. And the world is an inherently beautiful place, even a city, and even an aparently orinary looking post office building!
Macro of a very orinary fly. This shot was taken using my reversed 55mm lens and firbre optic flash setup.
