Une vue sur la rivière des Outaouais qui serpente proche de la ville de l'Orignal dans la province de l'Ontario. La photo a été prise lors d'un vol entre l'aéroport de Saint-Hubert et l'aéroport de Gatineau à une altitude d'environ 4000 mètres(12000 pieds).
A view of the Outaouais river which flow near the city of l'Orignal in the province of Ontario. The photo was taken during a flight from St-Hubert airport snd Gatineau airport at an altitude of 12000 feet.
Ceci n'est pas l'image d'un caribou ! Il s'agit d'un orignal, sur 2 km, mais on est passes trop vite, on ne l'a pas vu !
The 3D printed photo is similar to traditional Lithophane. It needs to be back lit to view the full effect (shades of grey, just like the good old Black & White photo).
Simply choose a photo you like and send to me for printing. I will post it back to you.
Tips:
Best photo for lithopane printing:
1. clean background
2. close up of the person (as the resolution of lithophane is never as good as printed 2D photo)
3. high contrast photo
4. Try convert to black & white to have a look before you decide
Specification:
The final print out is about the size of 100mm x 75mm (including 2mm border) and the thickness is about 5mm.

i orignally took this shot just to one up my friend. she took a shot of some shells and stuff in a bowl while she was in resort in Honduras and she put it up on facebook. i saw it and decided to shoot one with an even shallower depth of field!
she's got one of those 18-200mm that can only go down to f/3.5 at the very least.
so here we are..
