After I finish a painting, whatever little paint is left in palettes (not much!) I use to do a small pocket pad piece. The nature of pocket pad paper for painting, it requires a different touch which makes the pieces looser. I enjoy the challenge and am always pleased with results.

So i'm super super stoked to finally get to start sharing all the photos I've been sitting on lately with you guys!!! They're mostly random portraits of friends I snapped while we were out on some adventure somewhere and they're some of my favorite photos from this year to be honest. These are some snaps of my friend Dörain that I took in front of a random budding bush I spotted on someones front yard in a random Atlanta neighborhood lol. Some would call it trespassing..I call it art.

I forgot about this picture, but was cleaning house and found it.
Attempt one, of way too many to watch and not have it work (it was only like two or three, but it's kind of hard watching your friends beat the shit out of themselves). It was pretty fast and brutal, and he kept hitting the wall about 2/3 of the way up, then down like a sack of potatoes. And, it probably didn't help that this was the first spot we stopped at, and pretty much the first thing he went for.

*Ended up tearing his A.C.L. along with some other tendon in the whole knee region area. Surgery, crutches, now working on the recovery portion of things.
GUESS WHO MADE IT TO THEIR FIRST AFRO PUNK!!! I've never been to a music festival before but I'm super glad i had the privilege of afro punk being my very first. I've never felt so "at home" amongst so many strangers. I also got some super sick shots of some of the people and artists that were present and cant wait to share them all with you. If you've never been to afropunk before and it's coming to an area near you I'd deff suggest getting a ticket.
Anyway, I bumped into this beauty while I was there and didn't even know she was instagram famous until after the fact. Life is funny that way.
