She knows I love daisies and blue, so I get original artwork. This one is a stylized daisy with a heart at the center.

I really love both of these so I’m going to have a hard time choosing between them!!

Finally was be able to make a photo that shows how Vi actually looks like on the grid. Many of my posts are with outfits I make on the spot and coordinated for the type of photo I want to go for, but I was never really able (or didn't think about it) to make a fit in such a way that it represents how my avatar looks like when I go shopping or hang out in public places (rare), lol. 😜

I might try in the future to make more of these photos, since it was *very* enjoyable.

Going thru a stack of older pastel drawings, I came upon this set of six drawings. I decided to combine them into one collection.

I haven't done pastel work like this for years now ... it's just so much easier - and just as enjoyable - to create art using digital art tools. And, even these have been enhanced digitally, darkening and brightening the colors.

After watching Euphoria, one of the scenes that really stuck with me was the fair scene - I just loved the mood and overall light effects that were present there. Sooo, that was what inspired this pic. 😉🎠

Also, apparently I reached the media limit on Wix, which is why I couldn't include any close-up or the original picture there. I might have to continue it this way until I either decide to pay for Wix, or Pro on Flickr - both of which aren't really on my to-do list. I might also look into some other websites, or dust off my coding skills I learned in uni and make one myself - however that will take me a while. 😜

Full credits in the link below as always though. 😉⬇

Finishing up my series of paintings of England. This was a sketch made form on online photo, which I then hand painted. I love the Langdale Pikes and the odd, numerous rock formations of the Lake District.

You must think me as fickle as the English weather, but I crave your indulgence for I am like a butterfly, flitting here and flitting there; caught between two worlds; often half-awake and half-asleep in equal measures; battling storms and searching for the warmest sun; never seeming to get much done and yet I do. What must it be like to be fully awake; to be completely present at any given moment or to sleep so deeply and never dream. I am attempting always to raise my consciousness. I no longer think of the set-backs that occur as failings. The act of trying is enough and the secret is to never give up hoping, because, having taken that brave decision to let go of certain people and certain things in my life, and believe me when I say that the decisions I have made recently have not always been easy ones, I find that what remains is a smaller foundation, but a stronger one, on which to build a better future. I am continually adjusting my sails, looking for that perfect place to lay anchor, but perhaps I have already come full circle … only time will tell ; 0)

“I want to paint a picture with my poetry

I want to paint a new world with my art

I want to paint a dream and wrap it around you

I want to paint a wish of love and sew it in your heart.” - AP

THE FIRST THING I SEE – IMAGINARY FUTURE & KINA GRANNIS

Shattered dreams come back to haunt me

fragments of my life before

I brush away the painful memories

dash them to the wooden floor

they slip between the boards and then

falling deeper gather dust

I will leave them until I'm certain

when I need hope; when I can trust

the beatings of my heart to find me

wanting; yearning more and more

pick up the rhythm of those feelings

that I left withering behind closed doors

even from pain strength can be gathered

especially from pain I found my way

found the light deep within me

by letting go of those yesterdays

I watch the sun in the golden hour

seems to grow and glow so warm

I could stand here watching; waiting

until it sets and rises at dawn

inbetween I'll watch the stars

feel the darkness; search for Mars

night cloak me in your mysteries

tell me what's beyond the trees

can you hear me; feel me; touch me

whisper sweetness on your breath

like a Summer's breeze I'm waiting

for a chance to find what's left

build upon this small foundation

make it strong and make it last

create a future with you this time

erase the failings of the past

tiny shards of glass from pictures

cut through my deepening reverie

pull me back through time in motion

open my veins and let me bleed

those days are gone

those days are gone

the future's bright

I'm not alone

forever more

I'm not alone

at last

at last

I found the long way home.
