The origin of the woods fire. Looks like somebody misunderstood the words "Burn Ban". Crews from Brush 5 and Engine 507 made a quick knock.
Directly under the wiper arm. They obviously let the arm slam down with the blade removed. Initially the crack wasn't visible from the driver's seat, but by the time I got home it had spread across the windshield. The dealership disclaimed any responsibility.

Nel chiostro sono tornati illustratori, calligrafi e stampatori d’arte per due giorni di esibizioni dal vivo fra le arti figurative, musica, performance, workshop, video, graphic novel, presentazioni, mostre, dj set, incontri e tanto inchiostro! Le lac Mégantic, dont le nom est abénaqui d'origine (comme Memphrémagog, Tadoussac, Coaticook, Magog, Massawippi, Missisquoi) et signifie «lieu où se tiennent les poissons», est à la source de la rivière Chaudière. Profond de 75 m, long de 16,8 km et large de 3,5 km, il est d'une superficie de 27,4 kilomètres carrés, à six kilomètres de la frontière américaine.
Il a été découvert en 1646 par le père Gabriel Druillettes. Le peuplement tardif autour du lac commença par le village de Piopolis en 1871.
À la fin de 1775, lors de la guerre d'indépendance américaine, les troupes du colonel Benedict Arnold, en provenance de Boston, ont emprunté le lac Mégantic puis la rivière Chaudière pour attaquer Québec.
Les troupes américaines affrontent de violentes pluies. Le 27 octobre 1775, Arnold campe au bord du lac Mégantic, où il jette à l’eau plusieurs fusils et canons afin d’alléger leurs canots. Ces fusils étaient destinés à la population francophone du Canada que les Américains voulaient inciter à l’insurrection.
Dans les eaux du lac, on trouve une grande variété de poissons sportifs : l’achigan à petite bouche, la ouananiche, la truite arc-en-ciel, la truite brune, la truite mouchetée et la truite grise (ou touladi). De 2010 à 2013, le ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs a procédé à l’ensemencement de plus de 51 000 touladis, 12 700 ouananiches et 7 700 truites mouchetées.
