The origins of the abbey of Rivalta Scrivia date back to 16 January 1180, when Folco, abbot of the Cistercian abbey of Lucedio in the Vercelli area, promised Oberto, bishop of Tortona, to make the church of Rivalta an abbey of his order and to respect the rights of the church of Tortona.
We might be on the west coast but this NEIPA comes right from it's origin. It's the real thing and you will agree this is no imposter. Tropical, full bodied and unfiltered, this is the beer that started a revolution. Galaxy - Ella 6.4% ABV

Many thanks for your visits, faves and comments. Cheers.
There is a large herd of about 50 or more deer on the Lagoon Creek reserve.
Deer – Chital
Scientific name - Cervus axis
Other common names - Chital deer, Axis deer, Indian spotted deer.
Origin - India, Nepal and Sri Lanka
Distinctive characteristics - White throat patch and white spots. Dark dorsal stripe and band over muzzle. Noticeably long tail compared with other deer species.
Identification - Feral chital deer are a small-medium sized species. Their coat colour is variable, but is often dark to rusty red with uniformly marked white spots in lines along the body. They have a distinctive white throat patch and a dark muzzle. The coat colour of the inner legs and underside of the belly is white-beige. This species is often found in medium to large groups. Mature males have antlers that are smooth and slender with usually three tines on each, though the number of tines is influenced by animal condition. Antlers may be 70-89 cm in length. Males are larger in size and weight (90 cm and 85 kg) than females (80cm and 60 kg). Chital have a distinctive high-pitch alarm call when disturbed. Scats are small cylindrical pellets sometimes with an indentation at one end.
History and Biology - Chital deer were initially introduced to Australia from Sri Lanka and India in 1802 but did not survive. They were later successfully released into Queensland in the 1860's. Chital deer are herbivores that browse on a variety of grasses, fruit and leaves. They are gregarious and can form groups of more than 100 individuals. They do not have a defined breeding season, and are capable of producing three offspring in two years. Chital deer will eat their shed antlers if their diet is lacking the vitamins and minerals. Females will separate from the herd during birthing and rearing of young.
Distribution - Feral chital deer occur in many areas throughout Queensland, small areas in NSW, Victoria and the south-east of South Australia. They are absent from other regions.
Habitat - They can be found in a variety of habitats, including open grasslands, open and closed woodlands, thick forests and heavily timbered farmland.
Damage - Feral chital deer are a growing pest threat. They can cause significant browsing damage to native vegetation, damage sensitive habitats and compete with livestock for pasture. They can damage forestry plantations and ornamental gardens. They are not often found in close proximity to humans but they do present a serious motorway hazard. Feral chital deer may carry and spread livestock diseases that can cause production losses and increased management costs.

Origins of the Tibetan Nomads
Tibetans are believed to be descended from a mixture of the ancient peoples that populated the plateau around 15,000 years ago and the Qiang nomads of ancient northern China, that migrated south to the plateau around 11,000 years ago. These migrant Chinese integrated with the earlier residents of the plateau, and the typical nomadic life of the ancient Tibetan people began in earnest.
In later years, the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo, built his empire on the backs of the Nomads. The strength of that empire was based on the fact that Gampo could utilize the huge number of Tibetan nomads as a mobile army and expand the frontiers of his lands further. This was also the way that the Mongolian Empire, under the rule of Genghis Khan, expanded to the edges of the Tibetan plateau, and interacted with the Tibetan nomads in around the 13th century.

"As a result of the connection of the Principality of Hildesheim to the new Kingdom of Hanover, the former Derneburg Monastery was given to Count Ernst zu Münster by the King of England and Hanover in 1814. Together with his master builder Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves, the count designed an English landscape garden around the castle, the delightful remains of which attract many visitors to Derneburg today.
In 1839, the year Count Ernst zu Münster died, Laves was commissioned to design a worthy tomb for the Lords of Derneburg. Now the classicist architect should finally have the opportunity to realize an idea that recurs in his designs: the steep Egyptian pyramid. The massive, geometrically symmetrical design language of Egyptian architecture was gladly adopted by classicism. As a student, Laves had to copy drawings of Egyptian buildings and sculptures meticulously. He was certainly familiar with Piranesi's etchings from ancient Rome and thus also those of the 12th BC Cestius pyramid, which may have served as a model for him. The Derneburg pyramid is a little more than 11 meters high and its slope angle is 61 degrees. The door, bearing the Münster coat of arms, is surrounded by a double-wound Egyptian round bar, and an Egyptian groove with double-rowed leaf tips decorates the entrance. Despite all the worship of the Egyptian cult of the dead, the mausoleum remained recognizable as a Christian burial place by a large cross above the entrance. On the stone door there was originally a grave inscription attributed to the Freemasons: “The progression to perfection is eternal, although the trace disappears from the eye on the grave”.
Count Ernst zu Münster, his wife and their daughters are kept in sarcophagi in the pyramid. To the side of the pyramid lies his son, Prince Georg Herbert Münster zu Derneburg, his eldest daughter Marie, "the faithful daughter of her father" (funerary inscription) and a daughter of Count Ernst zu Münster. The following generations of the zu Munster family rest in the tombs in front of the pyramid: Alexander Fürst zu Munster, Georg Herbert's second son, his wife Muriel and their son Friedrich Graf zu Münster, who is still popularly known today as Graf Fredi. The Celtic high cross on the tomb of Princess Muriel indicates her origins in Scotland."

Fonte: www.santuariodigraglia.com
Lake Chapo is a turquoise pre-mountain lake of glacial origin, located at 240 meters above sea level, 40 km northeast of Puerto Montt and 110 km southeast of Puerto Varas. It is located between the Alerce Andino National Park and the Llanquihue Natural Reserve, so it offers a very beautiful view of both the mountains that surround it and the lush vegetation of the place. It is the only lake in the Puerto Montt commune. Since 1990, it has had to endure the devastating effects of a basin transfer, producing an ecological imbalance without return associated with the operation of the Canutillar hydroelectric plant.
In the photograph we see the reflection of the Milky Way in the lake, next to the ghost forest impacted by past eruptions of the Calbuco volcano in the area, also the Carina nebula, the Magellanic clouds, the southern cross and the galactic center, as well as well as the airglow that dyes the scene red.

From L to R:
Arkham Origins Joker: Went back and played it again. Also made a black trench coat. So I made him. Coat should be dark purple, but I kept it as purist as possible. It works. If not Arkham Origins Joker, then it's just a cool Joker.
Leto Joker: Just threw this together after experimenting with the hair. No tattoos because this figure won't stay together.
Phantasm: My favorite of this bunch. I finally watched Batman mask of The Phantasm beginning to end the other night. I've seen parts of it before, but never the whole film. It's pretty top. So I wanted to make a Phantasm figure. Lego has no good head for a completely purist one, so I made a custom mask out of a black hood and a Skull Head helmet from Space Police. Gonna be honest tho, didn't give a toss about making an accurate knife hand, so I just did this. it works for me. Not 100% accurate, but I like it.
Slade Wilson: Made a Slade head fro my Deathstroke. Just a Magneto head with some paint mods.
Prometheus: I guess you could say this one is a Moose-Verse figure. Taylor suggested I use this torso for him because of the scarf, and I went from there. Went with a more militaristic look and got rid of the bright colors. I actually really like it.
what do you think? Which is your favorite and why?
