In this experiment, which some might call a spiritual exercise, the attempt is made at transferring bioenergy from an onion via an accumulator and, then, an accelerator, to a person. Evidence of transfer must not be 'anecdotal' but repeatable and statistically corroborated. This is the reason why I should be careful when talking about 'evidence'. There is a second caveat of a more ethical nature. In this experiment, the direction of energy transfer is from onion to man. This is purely for scientific reasons. The aim of the whole exercise, once formally established, is to transfer life energy from one person to another (transfer of merit, spiritually speaking). The consensus is this is a hybrid between a great blue heron and a great egret. That didn't make sense to me until I found they are part of the same genus. This is probably the correct explanation unless this is a real life example of a possible evolutionary phenomenon called "punctuated equilibrium". I actually think orgone energy is partly responsible for punctuated equilibrium.

Cuando eres pequeño, el mundo se percibe en una escala diferente. El tiempo se demora o se apresura ajeno al mecánico compás de los relojes y, como si te asomaras al tamiz mágico de un caleidoscopio, la imaginación termina abrazándose con la realidad de un modo inesperado. En los ojos de un niño, la frontera entre lo que uno divisa y uno sueña es tan borrosa y delicada como el trazo de una tiza. Con el recuerdo, la silueta de los sitios y las personas que una vez conocimos suavizan sus aristas y agrandan su sombra hasta convertirse en gigantes.
Peter Reich escribió en 1974 “El libro de los sueños”, unas memorias en las que evocaba su infancia feliz y despreocupada en una remota granja de Maine, intentando atrapar nubes y cosechar lluvias de ellas con un extraño artilugio de tubos y engranajes, el “cloudbusting”, una misteriosa máquina construida por la febril inventiva de su progenitor. Su padre, Wilhem (Dobzau, 1897 - Pennsylvania, 1957), un refugiado austríaco que había huido de la persecución nazi, había sido considerado en su juventud como uno de los pensadores más lúcidos y atrevidos de su tiempo pero para las autoridades americanas apenas era sólo un mediocre charlatán, alguien que con los años acabaría su vida en prisión y sus obras destruidas en el fuego por mandato judicial.
Sin embargo, nada de lo que dijeran los hombres de gris y las acusaciones que versaron sobre aquella persona importó al pequeño Peter. En el fondo, con todos sus claroscuros, nuestros padres dan rostro siempre a nuestros primeros héroes y compañeros de aventuras. A pesar de sus errores y faltas, son quienes nos modelan el espíritu y nos convierten en los seres que llegamos a ser.
La lectura de toda aquella historia y la frágil figura del padre perdido, según la mirada del hijo que le rememora, acabó inspirando una de sus mejores canciones a Kate Bush, la célebre cantante y compositora británica. “Cloudbusting”, publicada a mediados de los ochenta sigue siendo hoy tan conmovedora como en su estreno y una de sus canciones más recordadas.

Blue mountains are an interesting phenomenon. I have yet to see cities from afar with blue within their lower atmosphere. I've seen wide angle photos of cities with blue but I assume photo manipulation could have been used such as going cool with white balance. You see, the few say the blue is actually the effect of orgone energy and this is literally life force energy surrounding certain mountainous areas.

This title was inspired by Kate Bush's song "Cloudbusting" which was inspired by the memoirs of Peter Reich's book called "Book of Dreams", (1973) about his father Wilhelm Reich, a revoluntionary Austrian psychoanalyst/psychologist and inventor. Reich developed the concept of Orgonomy and one of the offshoots from this concept was his theory that "Orgone energy" in the sky could be manipulated by a cloud busting machine (that he invented) to make it rain. And he was apparently able to prove this practically in July 6, 1953, Bangor USA.

It also appears that his theory of Orgonomy and the way he was applying it to a variety of areas became an issue of controversy in his time and circles, and, his work was dismissed by the scientific community and the government as pseudoscience and as making false claims. Ultimately, "all orgone-related equipment and literature owned by Reich and his associates was destroyed" without their consent.

However, to this day, Reich still has his followers who are still happy to explore his theories. And apparently, there are also colleges in America that are dedicated to his theory of Orgonomy.

I myself have not reached any particular conclusion on this. I think I would need to read a lot more, including the "Book of dreams" before reaching any particular conclusions. Having said that, I must say, I do enjoy seeing creative and inventive ideas. And as far fetched as this idea might sound, I do like the idea that there could be a machine invented that might help in solving the problem of droughts around the world.

Orgone energy was a hypothetical universal life force originally proposed in the 1930s by Wilhelm Reich. In its final conception, developed by Reich's student Charles Kelly after Reich's death, Orgone was conceived as the anti-entropic principle of the universe, a creative substratum in all of nature comparable to Mesmer's animal magnetism. Orgone was seen as a massless, omnipresent substance, similar to luminiferous aether, but more closely associated with living energy than inert matter. It could coalesce to create organization on all scales, from the smallest microscopic units—called bions in orgone theory—to macroscopic structures like organisms, clouds, or even galaxies.
It's rare I even think of uploading photos right after a concert but tonight was pretty amazing. The singer from Orgone is absolutely stunning and I found a good spot to grab images from. She was easily one of the more enjoyable subjects I've had the privilege of shooting...drop dead gorgeous and full of emotion while she performs--paid no attention to the big 70-200 in the front row of a small venue. It didn't hurt everyone in the band was phenomenal...one of the best jam bands I've seen in a long time. I highly encourage you to check them out. I took a good 400 images and this just happened to be the first I looked at after uploading....I envision plenty more to come..

[ This song is based on Peter Reich's 1973 memoir, A Book of Dreams. This song is about the close relationship between psychologist and philosopher Wilhelm Reich and his young son, Peter, told from the point of view of the mature Peter. It describes the boy's memories of his life with Reich on their family farm, called Orgonon where the two spent time "cloudbusting", a rain-making process which involved pointing at the sky a machine designed and built by Reich, called a cloudbuster. The song also describes Wilhelm Reich's abrupt arrest and imprisonment, the pain of loss the young Peter felt, and his helplessness at being unable to protect his father.
On 12 December 1941, five days after Pearl Harbor and the day after Germany declared it was at war with the United States, Reich was arrested in his home at 2 a.m. by the FBI and taken to Ellis Island, where he was held for over three weeks. He identified himself at the time as the Associate Professor of Medical Psychology, Director of the Orgone Institute. He was at first left to sleep on the floor in a large hall, surrounded by members of the fascist German American Bund, who Reich feared might kill him, but when his psoriasis returned he was transferred to the hospital ward. It was later discovered that Reich was the victim of mistaken identity; there was a William Reich who ran a bookstore in New Jersey, which was used to distribute Communist material. The FBI acknowledged the mistake in November 1943 and closed Reich's file.]

What are biophotons ?
Biophotons, or ultraweak photon emissions of biological systems, are weak electromagnetic waves in the optical range of the spectrum - in other words: light. All living cells of plants, animals and human beings emit biophotons which cannot be seen by the naked eye but can be measured by special equipment developed by German researchers.
This light emission is an expression of the functional state of the living organism and its measurement therefore can be used to assess this state. Cancer cells and healthy cells of the same type, for instance, can be discriminated by typical differences in biophoton emission. After an initial decade and a half of basic research on this discovery, biophysicists of various European and Asian countries are now exploring the many interesting applications which range across such diverse fields as cancer research, non-invasive early medical diagnosis, food and water quality testing, chemical and electromagnetic contamination testing, cell communication, and various applications in biotechnology.
According to the biophoton theory developed on the base of these discoveries the biophoton light is stored in the cells of the organism - more precisely, in the DNA molecules of their nuclei - and a dynamic web of light constantly released and absorbed by the DNA may connect cell organelles, cells, tissues, and organs within the body and serve as the organism's main communication network and as the principal regulating instance for all life processes. The processes of morphogenesis, growth, differentiation and regeneration are also explained by the structuring and regulating activity of the coherent biophoton field. The holographic biophoton field of the brain and the nervous system, and maybe even that of the whole organism, may also be basis of memory and other phenomena of consciousness, as postulated by neurophysiologist Karl Pribram an others. The consciousness-like coherence properties of the biophoton field are closely related to its base in the properties of the physical vacuum and indicate its possible role as an interface to the non-physical realms of mind, psyche and consciousness.
The discovery of biophoton emission also lends scientific support to some unconventional methods of healing based on concepts of homeostasis (self-regulation of the organism), such as various somatic therapies, homeopathy and acupuncture. The "ch'i" energy flowing in our bodies' energy channels (meridians) which according to Traditional Chinese Medicine regulates our body functions may be related to node lines of the organism's biophoton field. The "prana" of Indian Yoga physiology may be a similar regulating energy force that has a basis in weak, coherent electromagnetic biofields.
Background
First discovered in 1923 by Russian medical scientist Professor Alexander G.Gurvich (who named them "mitogenetic rays") and in the 1930s widely researched in Europe and the USA, biophotons have been rediscovered and backed since the 1970s by ample experimental and theoretical evidence by European scientists. In 1974 German biophysicist Fritz-Albert Popp has proved their existence, their origin from the DNA and later their coherence (laser-like nature), and has developed biophoton theory to explain their possible biological role and the ways in which they may control biochemical processes, growth, differentiation etc. Popp's biophoton theory leads to many startling insights into the life processes and may well provide one of the major elements of a future theory of life and holistic medical practice based on such an approach. The importance of the discovery has been confirmed by eminent scientists such as Herbert Froehlich and Nobel laureate Ilya Prigogine. Since 1992, the International Institute of Biophysics, a network of research laboratories in more than 10 countries, based in Germany, is coordinating research in this field which promises rapid development in the next decade.
Aims of the book
To date the few books about biophotons have been highly technical and written mainly in German. Not even among these, there was any single book integrating all that is known today about this fascinating field of science which is likely to become soon a much discussed topic also in the English-speaking world. The author, who in 1994-95 has served as Managing Director of the International Institute of Biophysics at Neuss (Germany) and still is a member of the Board of Directors of this institute, has closely followed biophoton research since 1977 and so was predestined to write the first comprehensive account of the subject ever made. His aim was to reach a wider public among scientists, medical doctors and the scientifically aware. The book which embeds the more technical parts in a popular treatment of the historical antecedents of the concept of "energy bodies", "life energies" and biolectricity, and to the ages-old scientific controversy between vitalistic and mechanistic trends in biology and medicine, also appeals to a general readership interested in new developments in the biological and physical sciences and in medicine and in their interplay with consciousness research and new age ideas.

Cloudbuster—Wilhelm Reich
A cloudbuster (or cloud buster) is a pseudoscientific device designed by Austrian psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich (1897–1957), which Reich said could produce rain by manipulating what he called "orgone energy" present in the atmosphere.
The cloudbuster was intended to be used in a way similar to a lightning rod: focusing it on a location in the sky and grounding it in some material that was presumed to absorb orgone—such as a body of water—would draw the orgone energy out of the atmosphere, causing the formation of clouds and rain. Reich conducted dozens of experiments with the cloudbuster, calling the research "Cosmic orgone engineering".
Construction
A cloudbuster consists of an array of parallel hollow metal tubes which are connected at the rear to a series of flexible metal hoses which are equal or slightly smaller in diameter to the parallel tubes. Alternatively, the rear of the tubes are joined together to a single large diameter pipe and flexible metal hose. The open end of these hoses are placed in water, which Reich believed to be a natural orgone absorber. The pipes can be aimed into areas of the sky to draw energy to the ground like a lightning rod. The remains of one of Reich's cloudbusters can be found in Rangeley, Maine.
