Here is my 2013 update of my vintage stereo system. I've recently purchased these Infinity RS-6b speakers and refoamed them, removed the old varnish, check the caps and now, these are like new. They sound fantastic!!

I have the Celestion DL4's speakers on top, and these were also recent thrift findings. I've removed my Panasonic BSR change, and added the Garrard SL-55 changer which was also a recent thrift finding, and I've managed to restore and save.

It's only trash if you leave it in the garbage...

I thought I'd take some time to play with different light sources, and it seemed that very still objects would make the best learning material.

I definitely learned to watch where the light is reflecting... When I looked at the photos after, I realized I was getting reflections all over.

I also learned to not reach directly over the candle to move something behind it. Who needs arm hair anyway?

I found the least bit of dust or residue shows up as well, so I need to be mindful of that.

Orange Lamp we bought for our office. I tried to do something abstract here, but don't know if it turned out as I would have liked. I think I may want to do some HDR processing for a shot like this.

I thought this scene was quite unique. The building, bridge and lamppost make it different. I think the photo was taken as we were approaching the Grand Canal within the Dorsudoro area.

200501: "Holy shit, ready, go!" That was my first thought when I saw the motif for Gris' livestream "View over the shoulder". A playground in Berlin. Ewww! Buildings! Perspective! Nevertheless dared to join in the livestream (Result in the 2nd picture). The next day I painted the same motif again in my Moleskine. (But without time limit. I think it took me about 4 hours for the complete page).

200501: "Ach du Scheiße, fertig, los!" Das war mein erster Gedanke, als ich das Motiv für den Schulterblick von Gris sah. Ein Spielplatz in Berlin. Ihhhhh! Gebäude! Perspektive! Habe mich trotzdem getraut, mitzumachen. Am nächsten Tag habe ich das gleiche Motiv nochmal in mein Moleskine gemalt. (Allerdings ohne Zeitbeschränkung. Ich glaube, für die Seite habe ich ca. 4 Stunden gebraucht. Ich verbrösele mich immer so.)
