Niazayre did her first conferencia -- an oral presentation on an independent research project -- on the Mantis Religiosa. She was tremendously enthused throughout the 2-month-long research process, and enjoyed prepping the talk itself. The actual speaking part was more challenging for her, as she was beset with nervousness. Notice her hand-drawn anatomical drawing.
