NGC3572, also known by little tarantula nebula. This emission nebula is located between the great nebulae Eta Carinae and the Running Chiken Nebula. I always saw its shape in smaller focal distance captures and I always had the curiosity to see its details. Mission accomplished! Capture made with my small refractor APO, the William Optics ZenithStar 66 SD in a bortle 3 site, the @bregildo_camping , in an almost full moon night, using the Optolong L-Enhance filter.

Do you see the alien skull? This is the Rosette Nebula, a region of atomic hydrogen that has been ionized (HII region) by the star cluster in the middle.

The plan was to take about 40 x 200s exposures resulting in over 2 hours of integration. However, a tree came out of nowhere and ruined all the best laid plans of mice and screwed up guiding in most of the photos. At the end only 7 images were usable resulting in just under 25 mins of data.

The structure is about 5000 ly away and 130 ly wide.

My first capture of this great nebula, the Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070). It's the biggest and brightest nebula of the Large Megallanic Cloud. It is so big and bright that if it was in our galaxy, it would be bigger than our full moon in the sky! This capture was made in the city (Bortle 8) and I made some frames using the Optolong L-Enhance filter and others using the L-Pro filter.

Horsehead (IC434) and Flame Nebulae (NGC2024). My second attempt of this region, this time with lower focal lenght. My first capture of this region is not on my instagram, I didn't like it very much. Despite the noise, I liked this capture because it have plenty of H-alpha emissions. I took pictures both in the city (Bortle 8), with the L-Enhance filter, and away from it (Bortle 4) at the @Bregildo_camping , with the L-Pro filter.

You are looking at the Milky Way, our "cosmic address" in the universe! This image was captured using an astromodified camera, which enhances the light emitted by nebulas, especially in the hydrogen-alpha (Hα) spectrum, where new stars are born. The 14mm wide-angle lens allows us to capture more of the sky in a single shot, revealing the rich details of this "river of stars." The Milky Way contains over 100 billion stars, and many of them are surrounded by planets—perhaps some as habitable as Earth! Each bright spot could be home to something incredible.

The Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) is located in the constellation Cygnus, about 5,000 light-years away from Earth. Formed by the intense stellar wind of a massive Wolf-Rayet star, the nebula takes on its distinct shape as the gas expelled by the star collides with previously ejected material, creating shock waves. This dynamic interaction results in a structure of colorful filaments, with shades of red and blue. It's fascinating that I've captured this object at focal lengths of 50mm, 310mm, and now 1100mm—seeing how the details increase each time!

Our fascinating neighbor, the Large Magellanic Cloud. It is a dwarf galaxy filled with young stars, stellar nurseries, and even supernova remnants. One of its highlights is the Tarantula Nebula, a massive star-forming region that shines intensely, making it one of the most active sites of its kind in the nearby Universe. It interacts gravitationally with the Small Magellanic Cloud and even with the Milky Way itself, creating streams of gas and stars that connect the galaxies.

Eagle Nebula (M16 ou NGC6611) it's a nebula most of h-alpha, a star birth nebula aproximately 6.500 light years away from us. Inside of it are the famous Pillars of Creation, captured by Hubble Space Telescope. It's possible to see them well defined in the center of the nebula. Astronomers believe that the pillars don't exist anymore and a supernova destroyed them. We see it as it was about 6.500 years ago.

Sister to the Large Magellanic Cloud, here is the Small Magellanic Cloud (NGC292). This is an irregular dwarf galaxy that orbits our Milky Way about 200,000 light-years away. Rich in gas and dust, this galaxy is a stellar nursery. Just above it lies the globular cluster 47 Tucanae (NGC104). It is visible to the naked eye in areas with low light pollution, especially in the southern hemisphere. Have you ever seen the Small Magellanic Cloud?

M16 and M17, the Eagle and Omega Nebulae, are star-forming regions in the Milky Way with intense stellar formation activity. The ionized gas around them emits the characteristic red light. This capture marks the beginning of my experiments with my new Samyang 135mm f2 lens. It was taken using an L-Enhance filter in front of the lens, which wasn’t ideal and caused vignetting, in a Bortle 8 location.

My longest exposure capture so far! Taken under the light-polluted skies of Ceilândia (Bortle 8), I captured the Eta Carinae Nebula region (NGC 3372) over three nights of imaging. Eta Carinae is a very bright nebula with intense star formation. Besides it, which is the largest nebula in the photo, the main celestial objects present in the image are: Gabriela Mistral Nebula (NGC 3324), a more rounded nebula at the upper right of Eta Carinae; Dragon Nebula (NGC 3576), in the bottom left corner of the image; NGC 3293, a star cluster just above Gabriela Mistral; NGC 3247, a region to the right of NGC 3293; Banana Nebula (NGC 3199), towards the upper right of the image; and NGC 3532, the Wishing Well Cluster, an open star cluster positioned further to the right of Eta Carinae. This capture would definitely look even better in a dark-sky location, but the filter helps a lot!

Porém, gostei do resultado final.

NGC 2070, the Tarantula Nebula! The largest and brightest nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud. This capture was anything but easy, and neither was the processing, as it was low in the sky and turbulence significantly affected the sharpness of the images. However, I’m pleased with the final result.

Known as the Prawn Nebula, IC 4628 is an emission region located in the constellation Scorpius. It spans approximately 250 light-years in diameter. Despite being quite bright, it often goes unnoticed in observations. I will definitely revisit it with longer exposure times and a larger focal length to capture more details.
