Might be freshman jitters. She's running varsity and on the right are the girls from Suzy Favor Hamilton's alma mater. Suzy owns a dumptruck full of collegiate honors and ran often at world championship and Olympics. (and I got to tease her! I'll get back w/that story later.)
A brief look through my photosteam no doubt reveals this is a favorite spot of mine. Also, it happens to be about 5 minutes from home so that is cetainly a plus. A busy morning on this nice day in early January in the Portland area, and a breif lunch break allows me to upload some pictures, get a sandwich and head back out into the wild.
