This method enables you to switch your lens from f 2.8 optimization to f1.5 opt in a quick way.
1-Dismantle the lens.
2-Separate rear element and notice how many shims are there.
The pic shows the factory optimization with the shims put at zeiss for f2.8 opt.
The newer f1.5 opt may differ in number of shims.
