Morning Glory flower up close, taken late morning in Port Elliot during our road trip to South Australia.
I like this optical illusion, the tubular section of the flower appears more like a solid round object rather than a hollow tube.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated..
Peaceful Saturday
I was shooting another building downtown, looked across the street, and saw the lamp post seemingly framing this pinkish highrise.
I appreciate the name suggestions, but Ted tells me the name of this building is the same as the address: 1500 Alberni.

An upside down rainbow which belongs to the halo family of weather optical phenomenon. It is made up of ice crystals on Cirrus clouds. There is lots of technical data that go with these, but I will let you look it all up!

I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, and I immediately thought of a "magnifying glass" when I saw this week's challenge.
As you can see, Sherlocks housekeeper had his favorite tea ready when he arrived home. When Sherlock came through the front door - he removed his hat, laid down his 10-power silver and chrome magnifying glass, and headed straight for the teapot atop his desk. As he relaxed for the evening, he puffed on his pipe and pondered over the next mysterious case that he had to solve - would he need Dr. Watsons help to solve it? . . .
This Magnifying Glass slides up from its own hard plastic case. When up, it also activates a small light on the underside, which also helps to clearly see what is being magnified. Just push gently at the top, and the lens slides into the case. The light automatically turns off at the same time. Comes with two batteries installed, plus two replacements.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
A single seed. I find it amazing to be able to see the detail of the seed as the light interacts with the organic material!

Sunrise in our Moravia has many colors. Some colors see the eye of man. Some color see the optical lens. Some colors capture the camera's chip and record them in mathematics. But the most important is the author. He lives here and perceives those colors as his brain has recorded.
