When things have to be done clean and fast, who you gonna call? That's right, Black Ops.
With his trusty MP5 and crossbow, this guy is ready for action all over the world, anywhere he is needed.
Well, this was the last one, tell me what you think about the overall :)
A bottle of Black Ops from Brooklyn Brewery in New York brought along for sharing at Borefts 2013.
Brooklyn Black Ops is a 10.7% abv imperial stout aged for four months in Bourbon barrels, bottled flat and re-fermented with Champagne yeast. It poured thick and black into the glass with a small tan head. It sported a rich dark aroma, with coffee, cocoa and some vanilla notes. Mouthfeel was full bodied with a soft, creamy texture. The taste started out with a mild toffee sweetness and a nice bourbon / vanilla character, not overly done, which balanced the coffee bitterness and dark chocolate. I also got some salt licorice in the taste.
All in all a rich but well balanced and delicious barrel aged imperial stout.
