Opo, a young female bottlenose dolphin, enchanted the residents of the Northland seaside town of Opononi for 10 months, from June 1955 to March 1956. Opo enjoyed being with children most, juggling beach balls or beer bottles on her snout, but she had her favourites among the adults as well. This statue is outside the hotel in Opononi, Hokianga Harbour. Some people mistreated her and the day after legal protection was given Opo was found dead on 9th March 1956.

Porto, Portugal and the surrounding areas are serviced by the Porto Airport, traditionally called Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport. The airport code is OPO, which is how the airlines and various travel websites refer to the website when booking and scheduling flights. It is the third busiest airport in the country based on passengers and aircraft operations – the other two airports are in Lisbon and Faro. The airport is located about 6 miles from the city center of Porto. The airport is also accessible via public transportation, making it easy for tourists and locals to reach the airport and the surrounding areas very easily.

Luchthaven Porto - Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro ligt ten noorden van Porto in de hoek waar de snelwegen A28 en A41 elkaar tegenkomen. Via de laatste weg kunt u het vliegveld bereiken. De luchthaven heeft een start- en landingsbaan en is een belangrijke basis voor TAP Portugal, Ryanair en easyJet. Sá Carneiro is de derde drukste luchthaven van Portugal. De twee andere luchthavens zijn Lissabon en Faro. Porto kenmerkt zich door de grote hoogteverschillen en de porthuizen aan de zuidkant van de Douro rivier. …Marker buoy - not for crab or lobster pots but for ‘Pitch No’5’ on the caravan site we stay at on the Lizard - being creatures of habit we always stay on Pitch 4 but were blocking the light for a shot of ours!! I well remember taking this - the first shot on the new to me Fuji XPro1 camera I’d just found in Truro - still very much delighted with it and why I went on to get the XT3!….
