Taken with a Bencini Comet III camera in week 122 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

This camera uses 127 film, which was introduced 100 years ago in 1912. The film here was MacoColor ISO200, developed at home in the Tetenal C41 kit.

Just a leetle ladybug on some apples at Granville Island Public Market. She was crawling and so I had a hard time getting her in focus... I would have kept trying but some French tourists elbowed me out of the way in their sheer desperation to get at the year-old waxy apples. One of them picked up the apple with the ladybug on it and when she set it down, crushed the bug. This photo sparked a blog post on focus.

Thursday 18 September I enjoyed the largest conference on digital marketing and media in the Netherlands: Emerce-eday. The theme was Open Up. A lot of inspiring (keynote)speakers like Jeff Howe (Crowdsourcing), Dan Lyons (fake Steve Jobs), Lawrence Lessig (Creative Commons), Julie Meyer (Ariadne Capital), Brian Kalma (Zappos), Andre Convents (P&G) showed us that highly succesful companies are opening their doors and are seeking more and more interaction with their customers. Not only to improve their relationship, but to actually work together on products and services, to better meet their needs. Advertising slowly makes way to community building and pull marketing. Open source and co-creation will gain importance. As well as collaboration with other fields of business. The time has come that companies become flexible, communicative and innovating....
