After a busy day, The Boss and I decided we would opt to pick up a pizza for supper. I dropped into the pizza shop, placed an order and was informed it would be ready in 15 minutes. So, I decided to take a brief tour on foot of Downtown Grimsby, Ontario, camera in hand and look for some images. At 1 Ontario street is a ‘barber shop’ (Hair by Safiyaa) and on my way outbound a client was in the chair so I decided not take a shot at that time. Looping back a little later to pick up my pizza, I once again passed the barber shop, and ,as luck would have it, they had closed leaving only their night lighting on. Since I was outside, the plate glass shop window was picking up reflections of the cars behind me. One of the cars was stopped briefly and I noticed it appeared to be passing through one of the shop mirrors, giving the scene a somewhat cinematic sc-fi look. One shot and off to get the pizza. – JW
NOTE: Tech note, actually... This was shot using a fast 35mm DX lense on my full frame camera but it still covers the frame, in case you were wondering.
