Today, I joined the hordes at the local DIY store who seem to think that all sunny Sundays must be spent in a humungous queue of dribbling and/or grizzling infants while Ma and Pa argue over which particular shade of puce would look great on the walls of little Chardonnay's nursery...

I pushed the boat out and spent £10.99 on an expanding over-the-door rack on which to store my expanding assortment of bags and backpacks. It was whilst I was standing in the aforementioned queue that I became mesmerised by the expandingness of my shiny new toy and had to be pushed forwards to pay for it before rushing home to use it as my 365 shot for the day...

For the Macro Mondays group theme 'From the street'...

A short walk from where I live takes one to a rather less than glorious part of town...

I had heard rumours that a derelict block of flats is shortly to be demolished, so thought it might provide today's camera fodder. Perhaps it wasn't altogether wise to be crawling around in such an unsavoury neighbourhood, presenting my ample posterior as the possible target for BB guns, but this broken glass caught my eye in the "Ooh - shiny things!" manner and I knelt down to photograph it...

It wasn't until I got to my feet that I noticed the two er... gentlemen watching me whilst on a break from emptying a tumbledown garage of sundry dodgy items...

I beat a hasty retreat.

We were lucky & it was closed for technical reasons, but then opened up just as we got there! Awesome! Otherwise, we find the Single Rider is the way to go on a lot of these rides!
