OK, I had a lot of dolls that I wanted to re-body into a more posable body. A LOT. The end result was that I had a lot of Lea/Neko heads. So...I got creative.

All of them will be up on EvilBay tonight (just the heads), but I thought I'd share here first. :-)

BTW--girl had a crap-ton of glue in her head. THAT was an adventure...getting that glue out. :-P

I DO like this girl but sometimes, I don't know, we don't always get along, lol... I find her really hard to photograph in some cases. I also am constantly thinking I should repaint her lips to pink. But, then she would not be as edgy as she is now.

Well, this doll was one of my all time favorites ever since I purchased her years ago, I truly love her! The more I do with her, the worse her hair looks. As you all can see in the photo her hair is horrible, but I really want her restored, shes special to me. You cannot see the bald spots in the photo because I tried to cover them as best I could.

Well I am now seriously considering a reroot for her, I don't know if I should just stay with the classic blonde (not sure what shade yet, maybe the rerooter will have some suggestions, I think she would make a pretty redhead or even something crazy like blue), but I am looking around for the average cost to get her rerooted. I plan to start rerooting myself, but Joslyn (fashion fever skipper) is one of my favorites and I don't know if I would risk a whole reroot because I just do not want to mess her up :) although I do have a pack of red and Carmel Saran hair (only colors I could find). Perhaps I'll just do streaks? Eh, who knows...

If anyone is interested in rerooting her for me or has any suggestions please feel free to f.m. me or comment below (or message me on ipernity.com). I feel more comfortable sending her off to a fellow flickr/ipernity contact for a full reroot so if I do the streaks it will probably be a temporary fix to cover the bald spots.. Wish me luck :)

A sur of the moment, I have this vampire guy, i have green flocking, I have greenish hair, I don't like the vampire too much but I don't wanna get rid of him, i'm making a goblin girl out of the witch...let's make her a boyfriend with a green mohawk and flocked sides!

so here he is. I need to get him some ears in the meantime I get say that Laz cursed him to have green ears XD

Vapor saran mix from retore doll and evergreen flocking all thanks to Madame_Effie one of my reguar clients.

I need to get modpodge and reflock, the school glue I used is starting to come up for some reason and I got flocking everywhere XD but it was a great experience.

debating whether or not I need to chnge his facw any or not.

It almost looks like it could be...I think the hot pink breaks up the orange just enough. :-)

I've seen these 'perfume bottles' before and just loved them. But they are always very expensive on Ebay, so I hd to try making them myself. I like how they turned out, but I wish had some taller beads for more variety. :-(

I'm not always a fan of this vanity, but I loved how it turned out with this paint!

I had a lot of contenders for this bed, but This fabric won out. The bedspread is reversible to plain white and the mattress is new (trust me--it needed to be new)

This bend leg Skipper is looking way better now that her bangs have been cut. I plan to give her new lips (old ones have faded to icky yellow and are cracked) and just a touch of blush...

I think Casey looked wonderful with this set. :-)

As you can see the neck split was extensive AND because of the previous failed repair, it will never really line up properly again.

Rather than stress the split out, she's now on a 'small neck knob' body rather than her correct large knob.

Still, she's a lovely display doll. Still have to do some facial touch ups, but all in all I'm pleased.

Hair was an absolute mess when I got her, chopped to pieces so I re-rooted her with some vintage Barbie Refill Saran I had ...

It's slightly different in colour & I have made it a little longer than her original hair.

I have also added extra to it so it is thicker and fuller than the original and also so much Softer!

Strawberry scent added to hair.

Paint on mouth is a little chipped so maybe she could do with a touch up but I wasn't feeling that brave!

Hat and Dress are original items.

Totally inspired by the Instagram account (and by inspired, I mean I totally tried to copy her), this Neko has a high ponytail in RestoreDoll.com's Glitter blonde.
