Project 365 blog: Roll A Week // 365

...is toasting my bowl of muesli. Monday blues be gone. BOOMZ.

A little time before breakfast.... and half dressed.

But perfect light so much hovering with camera while breakfast waits.

The colours of the poppies were beautiful but it's the B&W images of them I liked best.

Yeah. I’m just trying to loose some weight while also maintaining the feeling that I am not giving up on any yummy foods. Kinda hard...

If anyone else is going through a diet, efforts to stay fit, exercising, etc please DM me. I would love to share motivational stories with you! (*^ω^)人(^ω^*)

colonial-style table, ceramics, sand

37" x 75" 33"

This ceramic rural scene from Australian artist Gudrun Klix shows, instead of the produce of farming, sheds filled with red sand from Australia’s central desert. The sand, appearing to have blown in, pours from every opening and orifice like the life blood of the country – a reflection on the effect of colonial settlement and the impact on the indigenous people and animals. Her work addresses the impact of an ever growing population and economy on a deteriorating natural environment.

Here's one of my favorite Italian foods on this “Tasty Tuesday”!

Sausage, peppers, and onion pizza that I photographed and devoured at @SmilingWithHopePizza in Reno, NV.

So gooooood!!!

don't get on my deck table!

There is something I find alluring in dying flowers. I'm not obsessed with death, in any way shape or form. I just find the flowers still possess their beauty, even in death, and decay. The colours have more meaning. It's like they're fighting to keep relevant, to, not become obsolete. I arranged the flowers (cut shorter) from the previous pictures, in a circular pattern on the bistro table in my backyard, then added 4 freshly cut blossoms from around the house. Can anyone name the 4 flowers in the centre?

Hello November!

After rolling around in dried leaves scattered all over the house, I finally decided to gather them in this letter holder I got from my friend Ioana, for my birthday last year. I know they’re not letters, but....ain’t stupid if it works.
