Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

And what can cause the biggest fire in your heart ? Love of course ! And that is what happened to Teddy Bear and Princess !! Their love is on fire my friends !! Smile On Saturday

When I saw the finished photo it reminded me of the 1961 movie Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, one of my all time faves. In the movie The Van Allen Belt caught fire and was cooking the earth. Kind of like our weather is doing to us now. If you haven't seen the movie I highly recommend it. It has many fabulous actors in it. www.imdb.com/title/tt0055608/

Walking through the shadows of the forest looking out at this spectacular sunset - I felt like my heart would burst with the beauty of the moment!

Created using Topaz Labs, and Topaz Studio

The photo is taken from John Weeks footbridge near Harvard square. I think the tower is part of a Harvard University dormitory.

Sad for loss of life , property even damage to the grand redwoods, Been a destructive fire season in California and the west,

There actually was no fire, but it ended up looking to me like one. I shot this while walking down by the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. It's an apartment building just across from the Quay.

This is an ICM, and I used a 3 stop Breakthrough Photography ND filter.

Crazy Tuesday THEME April 27th, 2021 - On Fire

On Fire

😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄

While walking along the Provo River this weekend, I spotted this tree with especially bright red and yellow leaves. They were so brightly colored, when looking up at the tree it almost appeared to be on fire with the leaves serving as the flames. Great autumn colors.

Llandanwg beach at golden hour.

Llandanwg Beach sits between the towns of Barmouth and Harlech on the southern side of Tremadog Bay. It is also part of the wider Snowdonia National Park and situated close to the pretty Afon Dwyryd estuary.

The sand dunes to the back of the beach conceal the tiny church of Saint Tanwg which dates from the 13th century. A small path winds through the dunes and leads you to the beach from the central car park area or you can take a trail from Cardigan Bay. As you sit on the pristine sands you will also be able to enjoy vistas of the rugged Rhinog Mountains in the distance.

The beach here shelves gently into the sea making this a good place to swim, although there is no lifeguard so care should be taken. When the tide is low, it reveals a causeway out to pretty Mochras which is also known by its local nickname of Shell Island due to the plethora of different hued shells found on the its beach.

Due to its strategic position, Llandanwg Beach is shielded from the well known Welsh winds which can be a little fresh at times meaning that you can enjoy this area even in the off-season. The beach is also well-loved by locals including fisherman who come here for the plentiful supplies of bass, mackerel, flatfish, and dogfish. With that in mind keen anglers will find plenty to do here, or you can explore dainty rock pools or simply go for a stroll on the soft, pristine sand.

Amenities at Traeth Llandanwg include disabled access and the village is also home to the quaint Y Maes Cafe close to the beach which operates from June to October

soundtrack: Take Five

(This jazz standard got its title from the 5⁄4 beat / meter, which is unusual especially for jazz songs)

I let those five incense sticks burn down rather than reek to get a flame image for Crazy Tuesday - theme of April 27, 2021: On Fire

I had to be fast(ish) especially because the further the incense sticks burned the more they moved during the take (they virtually tipped over), creating rather blurry images

😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄 , everyone

(very busy day - so I will catch up later in the evening)

Ich habe fünf Räucherstäbchen abbrennen lassen (statt sie 'rauchen' zu lassen) für ein Flammenbild für Crazy Tuesday - Thema am 27. April 2021: On Fire / in Flammen

An intense blaze of red, this crocosmia almost looks like it is on fire, caught by the early evening light.

Crazy Tuesday theme: on fire

Sunrays coming off the sun onto caernarfon ddol in Llanberis.

Cae’r Ddôl Is a small area of land sitting on the south west shore and in the flood plain of Llyn Padarn (Llyn Padarn Site of Special Scientific Interest) in the busy tourist village of Llanberis, North Wales. Dolbadarn castle takes its name from Cae’r Ddôl and sits on the hill overlooking the meadow. The castle was probably built by Llywelyn ab Iorwerth (‘the Great’) early in the thirteenth century; Dolbadarn itself means ‘Padarn’s Meadow’ in reference to the lake alongside which it sits. The whole area of pasture is separated into two separate enclosures; one grazed by sheep, containing a area of the SSSI, and one, until the removal of grazing in 2013, grazed by horses from a local riding stable.
