The National September 11 Memorial and Museum in Manhattan. These pools occupy the space once filled by the twin towers. The low winter sun brought out amazing colors following a rainy day to give this image some pop.

Finally made it out to shoot some cityscapes at night. Also curious where people's favorite night spots are🌃? LMK and happy still weekend!
Please check out my instagram (linked below) as I get much more interaction on there and I am much more responsive to comments/messages! Sadly Flickr seems to be slowly dying.
Shot from Hoboken using two exposures. Edited in LR and composed in PS. Curious what people thoughts are with SmugMug acquiring Flickr. Let me know in the comments!

A rainy morning in New York City, Lower Manhattan yawns the morning after Christmas with few people.
New York City - January 20, 2023: Long exposure of clouds over One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower in Lower Manhattan, New York City as seen from Tribeca. One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the United States.
That classic shot that everyone gets. I tried to make it just a bit more unique by adding in the lens flare.
It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream.
Amazing puddle reflection sunset of the Manhattan Bridge and Downtown as seen from Brooklyn.
Huge 11-shot pano from this sunrise behind NYC.
And that concludes the photos from my most recent trip to NYC. Thank you all for checking them out, I have really appreciated the faves, comments, and views.
Like I mentioned in my last post, this was taken from the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson River in Jersey City, NJ. Take a quick look at my last post which was taken from across the Hudson River 40 floors up in Lower Manhattan. You will be able to view the Hyatt along the Hudson and if you zoom in you can see the exact door I took this shot from. ;)
In this shot you can see One World Trade captured within the door frame.
The 911 Memorial in NYC is a very powerful place. This captures the human element. Learn more about Betty Ann Ong at www.bettyong.org.
Pulled from the archives. A memory from the night I shot at the abandoned Jersey City pier with a group of other passionate photogs. I'm not sure if this place is accessible anymore, there may be new condos placed on the empty lot. It's been a while since I was there back in 2016 and a lot has changed since. It was sort of an adventure to gain access to this location because we had to hop a fence or two as well as climb through a few open spots in another fence. This location was amazing as it sat directly across the Hudson from the WTC.
