Back to my basic 365 goal today, make everyday things interesting by transforming them with light. I found this piece of trash (broken pop-up sprinkler) in the road this morning and couldn't help but use it for an image. I was concentrating on it so that I didn't realize a group of ducks had wandered down my street. Hope you have a wonderful day filled with light.
Found this dress in a Goodwill the other day, and am highly amused by the attention it's getting. :o)
Must immortalize this quote by my friend Nick: It's "like a trench coat married a dress and had a military shirt child!"

What is left of a major piece of South Jackson, TN history, the Bemis Mill. What was once a thriving, successful cotton mill (along with the surrounding mill town of Bemis, TN) is slowly being reduced to nothing more than rubble. Just a sad day to see a piece of history in your home town being reduced to rubble...

I recently picked up a gently used Canon 1Ds III, and it's still a pretty great camera. I shot a 5D 2 for years and have missed Canon colors. I'm pretty sure this has the same sensor as the 5D2.

Left my unusual creatures. They can be studied; inspected for evidence and clues to the lives of the depositors. Mostly, they are simply sidestepped, and passed without a thought.
The quote above is delivered by James May in episode six of season 17 of Top Gear. Here are four forgotten batteries that I found in the undeveloped lot.
