Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in the heart of Copenhagen displays ancient and modern art in truly unique surroundings.
Founded in 1888 by the brewer Carl Jacobsen (1842-1914), the art museum contains two main departments combining art in impressive architectural surroundings.
The Department of Antiquities houses excellent collections of Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan and Roman art, providing a delightful stroll through 3500 years of art and history.
It's one of two Caribbean Flamingos that reside at the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, in Key West, Florida. At least that was the case two years ago when this shot was taken. I don't know if this is Rhett or Scarlett.

We saw this one eye Koala on a hike up Mt Osmond in Adelaide. We had my daughter's dogs with us and the Koala is trying very hard to check them out without stereo vision. Despite its handicap, it seems to be well fed and healthy.

A Golden living his golden years. Doesn't run like he used to. Doesn't play like he used to. However, he is still as sweet and loving as he has always been...maybe more.
The summer tanager is a medium-sized American songbird. Formerly placed in the tanager family, it and other members of its genus are now classified in the cardinal family. The species's plumage and vocalizations are similar to other members of the cardinal family.
