In the snow and cold as could be. This guy did not like me pointing my lens at him. He kept coming at me for sometime. Spooky to say the least!!!
This little guy was so focused. It was coming directly towards me while I was laying on the shore…. He certainly gave me the impression that he was about to take over the world and nothing was going to stop him despite his small size. Inspiring!

I have an Old Astrolabe ( astrolabos = star-taker ) that helped me to spot a handful of Bright Stars that are always Shining ...
Less than 30 ,but more than enough to send me Affluent Light ... I'm talking about my beloved Flickr contacts who kept posting magnificent photos throughout 2014 , and were also kind enough to drop by and leave their pithy and praiseful comments on my shots ...

I have no idea where these ducks were walking to but they seemed to be In a great hurry to get there.
There were leaving the lake and waking toward a small grassy field. Maybe it's where they stash all the breadcrumbs people toss to them?
Seen at a nearby arboretum.
One of the local Mute Swans. Very protective of territory and never giving the resident Canada Geese a minutes peace.
These two little ones were stragglers when a family of Canada Geese marched across the path we were walking on, coming from the lake and headed to a nearby grassy field. They didn't seem to be in too big a hurry since Mom, Dad and their six siblings weren't too far ahead.
Seeing them alone like this reminded me of Hansel and Gretel lost in the woods looking for the breadcrumbs they'd left to mark their way.
Included a few whole peanuts along with the usual scoop of critter munchies I'm tossing out each morning for our backyard visitors.
When this squirrel came racing across the yard toward the bird bath I initially thought he was going to get a drink. But when I saw that peanut in his mouth it was clear he was on an urgent mission to find The Perfect Place to burry that amazing find of his!
The birdbath was not it.

Brutus is actually a pubcat. He resides in two pubs that are situated next to eachother (best of two worlds) and he also likes to roam the streets. He's got a nice bellyflap :)

A good example of the issues with buses being sold on in previous operators liveries.
Stagecoach as we know turn out a pretty much impeccable fleet presentation wise but as shown in this pic the operator in question 'On a Mission' in Milton Keynes was doing nothing for the good of public transport or Stagecoach turning out a bus like this!
Most of their fleet I viewed on my visit was a similar collection of interesting but ramshackle buses, this wasn't even the worst presented ones!

People are really so nice and cooperative, it always touches my heart to share a moment together. 2/53 weeks project.
This image is from my archives almost 10 years ago. I was shooting street candids and this guy blew past as if the devil was on his tail. I cropped it, but left a strange bokeh of other people on the street to the right, thinking it enhanced the sense of movement.

Somehow Lothian buses always look good and it pains me as a Glaswegian to admit this. Ian McLean summed it up beautifully in "Buses" magazine in the 1950's when he described the livery as brown.
