Time flies,
After a hot summer, so the cows weren't out much,
It was too hot and too dry.
Now we have wolves in the area. Which means the ladies have to get in on time.
The weather is getting colder, so the grazing season is almost over.
So next year hope the wolves stay away.
Several sheep, cows and a pony have already been attacked and died of their injuries.
A concern for now and the future

Classic timekeeping on the streets of Vienna, Austria. Captured while in the city for a conference in 2008 with my old D80, my first DSLR. So long ago! Also I'm certain I have the street location wrong so if anyone recognizes these buildings or the sign please let me know.

Greetings from the Land of Food Poisoning. I'm slowly getting better. Attention will be ready on time. I can't wait for you all to see it. <3
Mad thanks to Kes Myas for the lovely pose.
This is a picture I took when I was working on the Winter Soirée project. I didn't get to submit it on time but I decided to share it with all of you anyway.
It was an honor and a lovely experience to work on this project. ♥
The Cape Lighthouse in L'Etang-du-Nord on Grindstone Island, in the Magdalen Islands, Quebec.
This lighthouse is a beautiful sunset spot and one of the most popular on the islands. It sits at the edge of a cape, hovering over red-sandstone cliffs and overlooking the Gulf of St-Lawrence. Arrived on time, the sky was dyed orange-red... Not just looking at the glorious sunset, also watching the waves and listening to the sea...
PS: The lighthouse was established on Point Hérissée in 1874, to warn mariners of Dead Man’s Island and mark the western shore of the Magdalen Islands. The current lighthouse was put in place in 1987. Made of fiberglass, the tapered circular tower with an octagonal metal lantern employs a dioptric light to send forth a light that can be seen for eighteen miles (24 km). Its current signature is a white flash every six seconds.
We were on time in this magical place for this rendez-vous with the northern lights. They came as beautiful as usual, dressed in green with diamonds in their hair. We fell in love immediately. We begged them, stay with us longer. But they were in a hurry to leave and hide behind the clouds.
HAPPY EASTER my dear flickr's friends.
♫ Van Halen - Finish What Ya Started ♫
Come on baby finish what ya started
I'm incomplete
That ain't no way to treat the broken hearted
I need some sympathy
I like to look, to long run
I like to take each step, one by one
Right on time, you will arrive
By keepin' the dream alive
It's alive and it's kickin' inside of me
So come on baby, please
Come on baby finish what ya started
I'm incomplete
That ain't no way to treat the broken hearted
Come on and finish me
Baby, come on
Come on baby, you said, yeah
Baby, come on
Baby, baby, baby
I'm a little bit shy
I’m a little bit right on time
And I know that you don't operate the same
Are you feeling alright?
Cause I really can't tell sometimes
I wanna know what's going on inside your brain
Just come a little bit closer
Cause I don't know if I know you yet
Yeah, there seems to be something new everyday
Why do I really wanna hold you?
Why do I want you so bad?
Yeah, you're beautiful but something's in my way
Each year at this time I try to photograph my first sighting of the wild flower Prairie Crocus - Anemone patens . It is also know as a pasque flower as it arrives right around Easter. Once again this year, it is right on time. We saw the first one on Good Friday.
I have been tracking the crocus appearance on Nose Hill for 15 years now. In 2016, I saw the first crocus on March 19. In 2020, it was as late as April 25.
When I'm not looking for wild flowers, you can find me on Twitter
The little dog found along the trail guided us to this location right on time for a beautiful sunset then disappeared into the woods....

Abell 1060 is a galaxy cluster in the Hydra constellation, around 190 million light years from earth.
As is often the case, the two bright stars in the frame are nowhere near the galaxies (distance wise) and are performing a cosmic photobomb in the foreground.
An interesting fact about this specific cluster is that from a gravitational standpoint, it shouldn't exist. Roughly 83% of the matter necessary to explain the gravitational interactions just isn't there. This is the infamous "dark matter" you might have heard of (which in essence is just a collection name to indicate that we don't really know what's going on). Time will hopefully tell/reveal.

Today I had my big performance. I was booked to give a presentation on time management. Unfortunately, I arrived half an hour late. I was very disappointed by the impatience of the audience.

It's like there's something in the air
That turns you wild when a country song
Is way up loud and the sun goes down
Right about then, you lock eyes on me
You got me where you want me, where I wanna be
All up in the middle of your left and right
Your side to side, yeah, you're right on time when you
Day 333/365:
I managed to get my favourite perfume at a very good price in the Black Friday sale. I also received this miniature gift set with it. So, another low key macro since my camera and macro lens were still set up from yesterday and I was a bit short on time after having our grandson for the last few days. He has gone home now and we will miss him terribly, he's great fun and really good company although extremely tiring! ;)
I added a couple of textures (my own).
There is no way I will get there on time.
First sunset is missed.
I planned to get to the Dead Sea on time for the sunset time.
No problem.
Another day.
Shot with my bud Daniel on our weekend shoot at Upper Pierce (first time for both of us) . The scene was ordinary , what I like most was the mist rising off the waters - seen near the trees - right ...so patience on and off the scene played a big role....see below. Colors are natural...slightly boosted.
PSB Technique. Vertormam. I used different focus points for this shot. Hence you find the grass is crisp and so is the backdrop. Layer masking of severalm tone mapped images ..each from 3-4 exposures.
I received many questions on time taken etc., note the tone mapping is very quick...can generate 4-5 tone maps in about 7 minutes. layer masking takes another 10-15 minutes. If blending is needed add another 15 minutes
Znas li kada zavrsava noc a pocinje dan, ili mozda neka druga sjena sada tvojim dvoristem luta?
And as it always has been a translation from one language to another almost never 'works' quite as it should. I took some time to translate it so it's better than google translation.
'Trains are Waiting for Us'
Do you know when the night ends and the day begins, or maybe some other shadow is wandering around your yard now.
In the dawn of the trains that will never pass, a creature accidentally came to life.
In the tracks of yesterday, you can hear the roar of the locomotive that is leaving for its last tomorrow.
In fact, you don't even have to wait for the trains, they come and go for sure, you just need to be there on time, at the right time. So don't take the bus.
Keep it a secret, trains are actually waiting for us.

On May 14th I set out for the Deseret Power's morning run, which left the mine right on time around 8 a.m. Unfortunately no afternoon run took place, but the morning shots made the trip down from Rock Springs well worth it!

Storm Chasing Video from afternoon on Flickr Click Here
September was still hot & humid within the wide open plains of Nebraska. The drought this time of year is normal. The heat is not. Was lucky to get this lone storm that afternoon.
The winding down of the storm season is right on time. We did have a few night storms with some good lighting. But my time is limited this time of year. Was only able to get this event.
A photogenic storm was what I need & what was received that afternoon. It was the last storm that I chased for 2022.

A daily occurance on the Berlin outer ring is the Poznan Shuttle from Rotterdam to - you guessed it - Poznan which is run by LTE. On June 26th 2020, this train was perfectly on time as always which enabled me to spot the train near Nudow...

(Re-edit of my favorite shot from the Grand Teton NP in Sept 2020)
The day before we had checked the weather and there was a 100% chance of rain with a possibility of snow in higher elevations. After a good night’s sleep from travelling down from Yellowstone NP the day before, I walked outside to find a snow covered car that I had to scrape off before hitting the highway down the road to Mormon Row. To say I was excited would be an understatement.
The Mormon Row road was covered in heavy packed snow that reached the bottom of my Toyota Corolla. I had come to far to not get to this famous structure photographed, so it was onward with a short prayer that I get there without ruining the car.
We had researched the two Moulton Barns on just about every channel but like most people know, you don’t know how it feels to experience anything without being there in person. The sights, the sounds, the smells. There are two Moulton barns a short distance from each other but I thought this one was more iconic. The Mormon settlers were sent out to establish new communites from Salt Lake City to support their growing population.
I had packed winter coats and stocking caps for the off chance that we might need them. We did. There was about 2-4 inches on the ground and the mountains the day before had very little snow on them at all. I got there around 6:40am and first light was to be just shortly before 7am. There were about 10 photographers out there with me waiting for the sun to peak over the mountains behind us. Right on time, the sun began to illuminate the Grand Tetons behind the John Moulton barn. I shot from different perspectives but this was my favorite of the set. Still dark enough to feel the sense of cold (19 degress F) with just enough ample light. I started with my 16-35L but ended up using 24-105L to fill the frame more tightly. I’ve seen plenty of photographs where the barn is higher than the mountain range and that was something I didn’t want. The fence around this barn vs. the other gives it more of a western feel and just compliments the entire area.
As always thanks for viewing my photographs and if you feel so inclined please like and comment your feelings on this capture. Have you ever been?
Mike D.
