L'art d'aimer - Erich Fromm
The Kingdom of Ayutthaya was a Siamese kingdom that existed from 1351 to 1767. The city of Ayutthaya was founded by King Ramathibodi-I in 1351. The city was captured by the Burmese in 1569. Though not pillaged, it lost "many valuable and artistic objects". It was the capital of Thailand until its destruction by the Burmese Army in 1767.
Ayutthaya Historical Park covers the ruins of the old city of Ayutthaya. In 1991, part of Ayutthaya Historical Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under criteria III as an excellent witness to the period of development of a true national Thai art. Wat Phra Si Sanphet is one of the ruins that remains at site.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet - "Temple of the Holy, Splendid Omniscient" was the holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand's ancient capital of Ayutthaya. It was the grandest and most beautiful temple in the capital.

Flies are ugly to us, but how can we be the absolute arbiter of ugliness when it is basically learnt. I'm sure that this fine fellow has quite a few admirers in its own domain, and I do know of a few humans on flickr that would call it pretty.
From a western point of view life was either created by an omnipotent and omniscient God and called good, or has evolved to perfection over many millions of years through successive generations being more able to survive. Either way, you got to look at this fly with a bit of admiration, and maybe see beauty beyond fluffy cats and pretty birds, don’t you think?
Sherlock Holmes /ˈʃɜrlɒk ˈhoʊmz/ is a fictional detective created by author and physician Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A London-based "consulting detective" whose abilities border on the fantastic, Holmes is famous for his astute logical reasoning, his ability to adopt almost any disguise, and his use of forensic science skills to solve difficult cases.
Holmes, who first appeared in publication in 1887, was featured in four novels and 56 short stories. The first novel, A Study in Scarlet, appeared in Beeton's Christmas Annual in 1887 and the second, The Sign of the Four, in Lippincott's Monthly Magazine in 1890. The character grew tremendously in popularity with the first series of short stories in The Strand Magazine, beginning with "A Scandal in Bohemia" in 1891; further series of short stories and two novels published in serial form appeared between then and 1927. The stories cover a period from around 1880 up to 1914.
All but four stories are narrated by Holmes's friend and biographer, Dr. John H. Watson; two are narrated by Holmes himself ("The Blanched Soldier" and "The Lion's Mane") and two others are written in the third person ("The Mazarin Stone" and "His Last Bow"). In two stories ("The Musgrave Ritual" and "The Gloria Scott"), Holmes tells Watson the main story from his memories, while Watson becomes the narrator of the frame story. The first and fourth novels, A Study in Scarlet and The Valley of Fear, each include a long interval of omniscient narration recounting events unknown to either Holmes or Watson.

Standing here watching this gently flowing stream meander through the meadow made me think of how gentle and lowly our Lord is. He was acquainted with grief and suffering and He humbled Himself even to the point of death on the cross. Our Lord knows how to empathize with us in our weakness and in our trial, yet He is still our Lord and He is the LORD of all things. Our Lord is both gentle and lowly, while also powerful and He is a Mighty Warrior who conquered sin and death and none of His foes can defeat Him! His power is perfectly self controlled in His Omniscient Wisdom!
I have a story to tell and a testimony to share. None of this work can I credit to myself. I refuse to back down from testifying of the glory of my Creator! I will declare of His marvelous works for all of my days! I will not cease to shout praise joyfully for what my God has done for me! My testimony is covered with His erasable fingerprints. Every aspect of my life is marked by His grace and filled with His mercy! Everything in this is made with such perfect intentionality that our small and finite minds cannot fathom the infinite and creative nature of our God! Who alone paints the skies! Who can raise up the mountains and fill the valleys with springs of water that sustain the very life forms that depend on them! How can we possibly deny the existence of God in this! It is a foolish pursuit to try and fulfill the role of God as only He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. He is the all-sufficient and all-encompassing One to whom every man will bow on bended knee when He returns in all of His glory! He is the one to whom all of the living creatures around the throne cry "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come." Let us not foolishly think that this life is about ourselves. Our testimony as Christians is Christ and the work He has accomplished for us. "We have overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony." Our testimony is Christ's shed blood on the cross that cleansed us from all of our sins. Therefore, I refuse to testify of anything else, but Christ in me and His never ending sovereign rule over all creation!
Ox carts, The Thatbyinnyu Temple (Burmese: သဗ္ဗညု ဘုရား, [θaʔ bjɪ̀ɰ̃ ɲ̥ṵ pʰəjá]; Pali: Sabbannu or "the Omniscient") is a Theravadin Buddhist temple in Bagan (Pagan), Myanmar. The temple is recognized as a monument in the Bagan Archeological Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Completed in 1150–51 during the reign of King Sithu I, the temple reflected the Bagan period's "innovative architectural and artistic creativity" and "an expression of the self-confident Burmese spirit of nationhood."[note 1] At the pinnacle height of 66 m (217 ft), the five-story Thatbyinnyu is known as the tallest temple in Bagan, alongside the tallest stupa in Bagan, the 100 m (328 ft) Shwesandaw.
The temple was badly damaged by the earthquakes of 1975 and 2016. It is undergoing restoration work with Chinese technical and financial assistance; the restoration work is expected to last until about 2028.

rubbing shoulders with time so carefree
pensive our these days isolated by hurts
mysterious to the mobility of all efforts
rasping gales in the showing mind of flypast
caught on the breeze hope remains steadfast

a vista neither here nor there in dido scheme
call upon the view again in sunsetting splendour
a journey to speak of in this setting venture

remembered tonight like the proudest silhouette
resplendent crowns adorn the memory of a living vignette.

Regard this world as the place to sow seed for eternity, and after taking such a portion from this world as may give you strength to take the journey to the other world, turn away from whatever is more than this. Realize that the future world is the place for enjoyment and happiness which is eternal, and the land to behold the excellence and beauty of the Lord; and make it your purpose, divine and omniscient grace assisting you, never to cease from the pursuit of them, but to secure as your prey, the phoenix of felicity and happiness.

Phalut or Falut 3,600 metres is the second highest peak of West Bengal, India. Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is located at the border of the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim and of Nepal. It is located inside the Singalila National Park. A small bunkhouse is near the top of the peak and is administered by the Indian army. Singalila Pass is 17 km away from Phalut. The indigenous tribes surrounding the mountain peak are known as Falutians by outsiders. Falutians have a 300-year history of worshipping the mountain peak, and believe that Phalut is an omniscient god. They refer to the mountain peak as "Omna Re Ay".

What do you foresee on your next page?
there is always more to tell
than what's already been told
much more to follow
merely waiting for hermetic time to unfold
here we go, take the plunge
into the water, out of the blue
gilt-edged pages to read by Autumn's fireside
the open air of endless words...
just turn the esoteric page outside
it's only you and the 'me' in words unseen
page 2 will endeavour to appease the devout
if your initial précis remains insufficient,
call upon the future and dowse the past,
with heavenly spirit so omniscient
words await your tales to tell

Dícele Natanael: ¿De dónde me conoces?

Jeder davon wog knapp sechs Tonnen.

The world-famous Moai stone giants are at home on Easter Island and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. An approximately 3.80 metre tall replica stands next to the Chilean Garden Cabinet. Two tuff stones were imported from Easter Island to Hamburg in 1999 to create the replicas. Each weighed almost six tonnes. The three sculptors Ana Ernestina Pont Hill, Jorge Eloi Tuki Pakarati and Luis Tomas Pate Rikoroko used traditional craftsmanship to create a total of two faithful replicas. One of them remains in Hamburg. The second moai is now on loan to the Museum am Rothenbaum Hamburg in the Gardens of the World on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Chile. 900 moai exist on Easter Island in total, the largest measuring 21.60 metres. The figures were created between 1250 and 1500 A.D. They have thick eyebrows, bulging lips, a pronounced chin and close-fitting arms - the Moai figures, which represent a revered ancestor, appear mystical and omniscient. ‘Moai’ means something like ‘to hold in honour’. The exact origin and purpose of the stone guardians is still a mystery to archaeologists.
Thatbyinnyu Temple in Bagan.
Thatbyinnyu Temple, Sabbannu or "the Omniscient", is a famous temple located in Bagan (formerly Pagan), built in the mid-12th century during the reign of King Alaungsithu. It is adjacent to Ananda Temple. Thatbyinnyu Temple is shaped like a cross, but is not symmetrical. The temple has two primary storeys, with the seated Buddha image located on the second storey.
Located just inside the southeastern corner of the old city wall, Thatbyinnyu is Bagan's tallest temple at almost 200 ft. (or 61 m.; some indicate 217 ft. or 66 m.) and represents a transition from the Mon period to a new architectural style that would soon be followed at the Sulamani, the Gawdawpalin and at Htilominlo. Constructed during one of the high points of Bagan political power and during a period of re-dedication to Theravada Buddhism and religious scholarship, it reflected that era's innovative architectural and artistic creativity.

Not the kind of view you normally associate with the term, but in a way, that's what many, if not most of them look like. Until roughly 100 years ago, somewhere on the field to the left of the road, was the village of Stragholz. Nowadays nothing of it remains; nothing you can see at first glance anyway. There's some trees here that you can still tell marked the perimeters of something once, and occasionally you find broken pieces of pottery and roof tiles in the shrubs, if you know where to look. (Which I don't.)
Up to 20 people lived here in the 1800s, which probably implies there were three or four houses here, timber frame structures presumably. The kind you find in museums like Lindlar and Kommern now. I can't help but wonder how many people lived out their lives here and never once made it to Cologne as the next biggest city, some 20 kilometers away. Traveling even short distances by today's understanding was so much more of an undertaking when your fastest means was a horse. To Wermelskirchen and back, which you can see on the hilltop in the background, is easily a day's march if you don't have any motor vehicles at your disposal. Google maps says it's almost exactly 3 hours from here to Wermelskirchen market place on foot. One way, and on modern roads, in modern shoes, not planning any breaks along the way.
Now, toward the end of Stragholz, some point in the 1910s or 20's at the latest, that wasn't so much the case anymore. The railway was going strong at that point, and the first cars also were starting to come about. And people indeed did start to travel, but from many places like this, it was usually only one way, and off to America. The age of emigration spelled the end for countless small homesteads like this, and whole tracts of land became depopulated almost completely.
With that in mind, it can't be terribly long ago that the last people who still had living memories of Stragholz, have passed away. And now we have the omniscient unavoidable internet, and it knows next to nothing about this place. Only the fact it once existed, and where about it was. It is in the truest meaning of the term, a lost place.
One of the things I love most about living in the city of Manchester is that nobody pays much attention to you, you can go out and slip right into the crowd right away. Hook your music into your ears and you can become whoever you want, feel like whoever you want to be. There's a Sylvia Plath quote I once came across which sums things up nicely:
“I love people. Everybody. I love them, I think, as a stamp collector loves his collection. Every story, every incident, every bit of conversation is raw material for me. My love's not impersonal yet not wholly subjective either. I would like to be everyone, a cripple, a dying man, a whore, and then come back to write about my thoughts, my emotions, as that person. But I am not omniscient. I have to live my life, and it is the only one I'll ever have. And you cannot regard your own life with objective curiosity all the time...”
I think that's why I like photography so much, I like creating my own little characters and stories that have played in my head. I get to be someone, or create someone for someone else to be, for a picture.

A peacock mosaic from Westminster Cathedral. In Christian art the peacock is used as a symbol of immortality, the hundred eyes of its tail-fan symbolising the omniscient God to whom are desires are known and from whom no secrets are hidden.
Because I'm gonna stand by you. <3
Many artists, poets, musicians and inventors discover that they have a Higher Self – an omniscient source of intelligence guiding their lives with meticulous care and wisdom, navigating the right people and situations into view for the highest and best learning potential, and perpetually trying to communicate directly through synchronicities, visions and dreams. Those who make an accurate, stable connection with their Higher Self truly awaken the genius within – tapping into a limitless reservoir of creativity, intelligence and flawless guidance available to each and every person.
-Divine Cosmos
She awoke with an angel standing at the foot of her bed.
“Do not fear me for I am Jujunezba, Angel of Heaven.”
“Am I dead?”
“No, it is not yet that time. The world is long overdue for a miracle for those who require proof of Him. You, Joanna, have been selected to be that miracle. You have been chosen to found a new faith, a new religion to bring billions of people of Earth into the Beacon of His Love.”
“Joanna? My name is Cindy? Joanna used to live here, but she moved in with her boyfriend about a month ago.”
Jujunezba’s face froze. “Oh,” the Angel said. “I’m not the one who is supposed to be omniscient. Sorry to bother you.” And was gone.

The Guardian of Knowledge, the illumination of darkness through universal wisdom. A Conscious Future of Knowledge and Interconnections of Worlds.
Unity, Happiness and Peace as a result of a Universal culture that is passed from Generation to Generation in a symbiosis between peoples in which the Common Goal is the Evolution for an Omniscient Universal Spirit shared by all.
It all came to be too much.
The hunger, the fatigue, the near-misses and suspicious glances, the stench of sweat and blood, the stress of every move being observed by an omniscient demon likely bent on world domination...
The heroine threw her head back and screamed for the whole forest to hear. Pain, frustration, confusion, anger, fury: a cacophony bounced off of every tree and rock, but this time, something inside answered her prayers.
Bone and flesh ripped from her back, stretching and splaying into magnificent, powerful wings. A length of bone several feet long emerged from the base of her spine into a sturdy tail. Toes and temples calcified into hooves and horns, hardened and immutable as the heroine's resolve.
Confusion poured through her thoughts at this transformation, but the demonic extensions called to her, drowning it with the urge to fly . . .
