(Antonio Machado / Noviembre 1913)
En una cueva de un monte lejano
me refugié. Y era de día
y cantaba el agua en el agua
y el aire soñaba en el aire.
Me refugié para no huirme
y no encontrarme. Era de noche
y el monte aquel era de luz.
Nunca supe de procesiones
como aquéllas: vestían clámides
transparentes, sin fibrias, iban
mirándome al pasar.
No hay dioses muertos si son dioses,
ni aquella cueva, ni aquel monte,
ni aquella luz, ni clámides
sin fimbrias, pues abrí
los ojos, y hasta el pecho
surgió el río del río.

Day 9: Esperance to Albany: The Unconventional Ride. 750 km in 10 days. Leaving Bremer Bay with the storm clouds still omnipresence. I paused for a moment on the Borden-Bremer Bay Road to take in the Bremer Bay sand dunes and the storm clouds.
Los castillos se quedaron solos,
sin princesas ni caballeros.
Solos a la orilla de un río,
vestidos de musgo y silencio.
A las ventanas suben
los pájaros muertos de miedo.
Espían salones vacíos,
abandonados terciopelos.
Ciegas sueñan las armaduras
el más sutil de los sueños.
Reposan de largas batallas,
se miran en libros de cuentos.
Los dragones y las alimañas
no los defendieron del tiempo.
Y los castillos están solos,
tristes de sombras y misterios.

The beautiful Sheep River, taken from the RV park / campground just outside of Okotoks where Lisa, the dogs, and I take my grandparents old RV on weekends during the warmer months.
This was taken from the end of a little boat launch a few spots down from our site, and it was truly an amazing day, as you can see from the lovely light, beautiful summer sky, and amazing calm, clear water!

The famous symbols of the Freemasonry are more than only mystical symbols ... for me they shows where is hidden the Holy Grail.
The Grail takes on even greater significance from tales that Joseph of Arimathea, in whose tomb Jesus was placed prior to his resurrection, used the cup to collect Jesus' blood while he was being crucified.
Theories abound as to where the cup eventually went, ranging from Arthurian legend to the Knights Templar, a medieval military order that persisted for more than 200 years and took it from Jerusalem during the Crusades. Or the story in which Joseph carries the Grail to Glastonbury, England.
But there are other ... keep with secret ...
The Eye represents Osiris but also the omnipresence of God.
The Cross is the symbol of Christianity, but also represents life (immortality) like the ankh symbol of the Egyptians. In this case the cross represents also the Military Order of Templars.
The Pyramid and eye represents the so-called Great Architect of the Universe but in this case represents ... the place where is hidden the Holy grail ... a special pyramid made with unique geometrical proportions !
The rays or beams of light are the true of knowledge, the true spirit, but also the Sun Or Ra.
The sun rising over the back of the lion or, astrologically, in the back of the lion, has always been considered symbolic of power and leadership.
The Hexagon for Pythagoras is formed of two crossed triangles as the symbol of creation, and the Egyptians as that of the union of fire and water (or of generation), the Essenes saw in it the seal of Solomon, the Jews the Shield of David, the Hindus the sign of Vishnu.
The hexagonal structure in the ruins of Baalbek in Lebanon have Spatial Relationship to the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Who knows ?! May be the Holy Grail itself was hidden in the Great Pyramid by the Knights Templar ! ! ?

A young (only 17 years old) monk's smile reflected in the ancient carvings of the Bayon, Angkor Thom, part of the world heritage Angkor Wat temple complex in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Behind him is One of 216 faces that watch over the temple.
A translation of King Jayavarman VII`s mystic Buddhist beliefs, Bayon is a spiritual experience. From each of the survivng towers the enlightened grin of the Boddhisattva Avalokitesvara, compassion radiates out in the four cardinal directions. Carved in the likeness of the King himself (his portrait is known from other sculptures found elsewhere in Cambodia and Thailand), these enigmatically smiling faces portray the King as god, symbolizing his omnipresence and omnipotence.
A tower with a deeper history than meets the eye...

Return to the old Liège baths and thermal baths transformed into a Cité Miroir, a place of debate, education and culture.
The Liège alderman Georges Truffaut launched the Bains et Thermes project. It includes two swimming pools, a bus station, a hydrotherapy section, additional premises, a café-restaurant, a dance hall. The modernist architect Georges Dedoyard will be appointed after a competition with very strict regulations.
The building was completed under the Nazi occupation and opened its doors to the public in May 1942. Georges Truffaut, who had died in resistance in England a month earlier, would never see his project succeeded.
Considered one of the most important achievements of the Modernist style of the interwar period, the Sauvenière building takes the form of a liner of majestic proportions. Inside, the most unique feature is the large pool hall which stretches 80 meters long and more than 10 meters high.
Dedoyard was inspired by the German Bauhaus artistic and architectural movement. The elementary forms - here the cube and the sphere - are highlighted, symmetry reigns. Bare walls, clean lines, the omnipresence of reinforced concrete and glass go in the direction of this essentially functionalist architecture.
The omnipresence of three thousand years of mankind’s history in Rome is quite chilling. If you take your time and stop to listen, you can hear the remnants from the past millenia talk: they talk of the persistent will of the powerful to leave their dent in the universe each in their own time, century after a century; they talk of the enormous power & wealth it must have required to establish these monuments that still stand amongst us here today.
And ultimately they also talk of the inevitable eradication of even the tallest monuments and strongest walls. They seem to be challenging the spectator: what will your dent in the universe be? And how long will it stand against the test of time?

Built in 1932, this neoclassical Revival building houses city and county offices an courtrooms.. In Short
It's best known for its Christmas lights, which decorate the building every winter. The tradition began in 1935 and has continued annually. The holiday lighting ceremony has become a large annual gathering. Keep an eye out for the tower chimes, which ring every 15 minutes, and the interior finish, which includes many lavish features. Colorado marble was used for counters in many of the public offices and restrooms.

#WorldFoodDay #ArtGriculture
Peas in the desert: irrigation in Saudi Arabia. 🌾🐐🌱🐄If there is one thing I have noticed this mission it is that agriculture and pastures come in all shapes and sizes, maybe being @FAO good-will ambassador made me more aware of the #CropArt in the 🌍🌏🌎. It is logical because humans all over the world need food security, and throughout our changing landscapes the need to grow food doesn't change. Crop fields and pastures come in many shapes and sizes: round, square, in-between and landscape-changing or river-diverting, and in deserts. As our climate changes we need to adapt and farm differently as necessary to ensure healthy food for all.

He was, He is and He will be...

- Prahlad, the Hindu mythical character who claims that God is all-prevailing and omnipresent.
This is a shot of a Hindu temple in Bangalore, India. When I reviewed this picture after post processing, I was reminded of the above quote and I felt it best suits this picture.
De tus torres las cumbres afiladas
desperezadas suben hacia el cielo,
inmortal el silencio de su vuelo,
las horas las contemplan asombradas.
Inermes en su destino y calladas,
soberbia su altura lejos del suelo,
perdida luz del sueño en desvelo,
pobladas de sombras estremecidas.

"The oldest living city in the world".
On the top of Ahilyabai Ghat along river Ganga In Varanasi (Benaras) there is a Shiva Mandir (temple) where I like to come during winter only as the monsoon floods are usually covering it in summer.
Year after year I became a friend of the music shop owner nearby who has an amazing selection of Indo-fusion CDs; he keeps an eye on my shoes whenever I want to go inside the temple.
I took this shot inside the shrine which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the God of the city.
On the left stands a big lingam, the priest on the right wasn't happy that day but I don't know why.
As a ritual of worship Hindus offer flowers, incense and a coconut in order to show respect to their chosen Gods or Goddesses and after blessing those things the priest is normally returning back some offers to the devotees who usually take them back at home and shares them with their close ones.
On the left there is the hand of a man who was asking for his offers, after a while a lady came and gave him instead of the Pundit.
Puja consists of meditation (dhyana), austerity (tapa), chanting (mantra), scripture reading (svadhyaya), offering food (thaal) and prostrations (panchanga or ashtanga pranama, dandavat).
The individual also applies a tilaka mark on the forehead with sandalwood paste, and then a vermillion (kumkum) dot (chandlo) in its centre.
This signifies submission to the Almighty and also His Omnipresence.
The priest didn't do it neither so as I was the oldest I applied tika on my friend Rajiv's forehead and on my brother Manish's one.
We never knew what was this tension about...

Everyone is still looking for words. Words are meaningless. When you listen to words you're really taking the power away from yourself. You have all the answers. All you have to do is to become still long enough and everything will be revealed to you. Then what am I doing here? I'm simply a mirror for yourself. I'm here so you can see yourself, your true nature. There's no difference between you and me. What do you see? What you see is what you get. You can see your own divinity as the Self, or you can see the personal I getting involved in all kinds of problems. The choice is always yours. Identify with the world and you suffer accordingly. Identify with your true nature, the Self, and you're happy and blissful. Of course your true nature is omnipresence, pure intelligence. Therefore if you are experiencing your real nature, wherever you look you see harmony and peace, because you're seeing yourself.
Many people still ask me, "Robert, how can I tell if I'm making progress on the path? How can I be sure?" There are many signs. The first is a sense of peace, when you are no longer disturbed by worldly conditions. The world appears to go on. You begin to see it as a picture, a movie. You begin to recognize what the world really is, an expression of your own mind. And when you can do that the world will never harm you again. It will lose it's power over you.
Of course your body is part of the world, and so is your mind. You therefore have to give up those also. When there is no thought for the body, no thought for the mind, and no thought for the world, then divine right action is taking place in your life and every- thing becomes joy. Everything becomes love. Without you thinking about it, without de- sire, without need, you become free.
Another way to know if you're making progress is you're no longer disturbed by any condition. You may lose your job, you may lose a family member, you may go through various experiences, but you're not disappointed, because you're able to see through the experience to the other side. And the other side is the fourth state of consciousness besides
dreaming, sleeping and waking. And in the fourth state of consciousness there's always happiness, for that is the substratum of every thing you see. Again the choice is yours. You have the freedom to identify with the world, to identify with your Self. There is no one, there is no thing, that can harm you or disturb you or bother you if you focus your atten- tion on God or the Self.
Yet most people do not understand how to do this. How do I focus my attention on God?
By remembering I-am. I-am is the first name of God. When you think of I am you're invoking the name of God and you're focusing your attention on God. So, when you have some kind of problem or something disturbing you, if you feel out of sorts, if you believe something is wrong, if the war affects you, you do not have to turn off your television, or change your environment, or change your circumstances. You simply turn within and invoke the name of God by saying, "I-am." What happens when you do this? You're really saying, "I-am absolute reality, I-am pure awareness, I-am nirvana, emptiness, ultimate oneness, I am sat-chit-ananda."
All this transpires when you simply say, "I-am." This is why, in the beginning stages, the I-am meditation is very important, with the breath. When you're doing that you're pushing all your false notions, samskaras and the rest of the garbage out of the way, and you're coming into your true identity.
You can tell if you're making progress by how happy you're becoming. When you see you're just happy, without any condition making you happy, then you know some- thing is working. If you need something or someone to make you happy, the same some- one or something will make you sad. When the person who makes you happy leaves your presence you'll be sad. When the thing that you're enjoying is taken away from you, you'll be upset. Therefore do not depend on any condition for your happiness. Happiness is your real nature. All you have to do is to invoke I-am, and you're radiantly happy right there.

Yo mudéjar te quiero y no cristiana.
Volumen nada más: base y altura.
(Gerardo Diego / Giralda)

Auyuittuq National Park is all about ice. Ice is an inseparable element of the Arctic’s paysage. It is present there in various forms, regardless of the season. Icebergs are just one of its creations. When we reached the end of the fjord, we were astonished by the quantity and size of these floating ice mountains. Their omnipresence could be anticipated, yet it brought on us a state of incomparable euphoria.
That morning, when I took this photo and the warm light arrived from nowhere, the icebergs that populated Pangnirtung Fjord gave an impression as if they were migrants from elsewhere. As if they didn’t belong to this place, but were parts of some sort of a natural exodus.
