The Olympic Agora is a structure designed by Santiago Calatrava for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. It consists of 99 parabolic arches that are linked to form a ceremonial route running along the Athens Olympic Complex.

Alas, no trip to Rio for the real thing, but a neighborhood pub in Westport, Kansas City with our son Shawn for great burgers and fries (The Green Room) . . .a cozy place to watch the competition. . .

Summer Olympic Sports-Tennis for Macro Mondays

Olympic National Forest- Washington State.

Olympic Marina is presided over by its twin towers (1992): The Mapfre Tower on the right and the Hotel Arts on the left. World famous Canadian architect, Frank Gehry, placed his fish sculpture at the foot of the hotel. It is 56 metres long and 35 metres high and seems to be longing to jump into the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Summarized from:

Vancouver’s Olympic Cauldron

From last summer along the Hurricane Hill trail

A distinct species of marmot only fount on the Olympic Peninsula, Olympic National Park.

A 3-image stitch. At rest stop about a mile from the summit of Hurricane Ridge.

The loss of the glaciers is clearly seen in the distant peaks.

I was dead exhausted by this point. But after 4 hours, I wasn't going to give up.

Next to my workplace is located an amateur archery field. We use the broken arrows to make some parts of academic robots and machines. The arrows are made of graphite, light and strong, ideal for our purpouses.
