Gestern war in Berlin ein warmer Herbstsommertag, blauer Himmel und wunderschöne Wolkenformationen. Der Himmel war ein Wechselspiel der Farben und Wolken, ein Augenschmaus für Fotografen.

Yesterday was a warm autumn summer day in Berlin, blue sky and beautiful cloud formations. The sky was an interplay of colours and clouds, a feast for the eyes of photographers.

This is the place in Olympia I really like to photograph. I took so many pictures of this old Sandman. This time it was windy and cloudy. Sometimes the water is very calm. One and the same place, but always different.
Alexander the Great and his mother Olympias were very fond of each other, but they were also two very violent people who literally walked over dead bodies.
Both did not shy away from having personal rivals and competitors killed by the dozen.

Alexander reacted immediately and marched southwards to Thebes directly from his Illyrian campaign. The phalanx of his general Perdiccas captured the city, where Alexander had all the buildings destroyed as punishment, with the exception of the temples and the home of the poet Pindar. Six thousand inhabitants were killed, the remaining 30,000 were sold into slavery. The city of Thebes no longer existed and was to be rebuilt only twenty years later, but never regained its former importance.

Olympia : is a small town in Elis on the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, famous for the nearby archaeological site of the same name. This site was a major Panhellenic religious sanctuary of ancient Greece, where the ancient Olympic Games were held every four years throughout Classical antiquity, from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD.. Mir gefiel der Weg als führende Linie durch das Bild bei dieser Aufnahme besonders und die gigantischen Farben mit der schönen Architektur des Olympiastadions dahinter. Was für ein Abend!
I really liked the path as a leading line through the images and the awesome colors of the sunset / blue hour where great with the architecture of the Olympia stadium behind. What a night!
