Middelgrundsfortet est une île artificielle qui avait été construite dans l'Øresund en face de Copenhague pour assurer la défense de Copenhague. Un fort y a été construit et agrandi entre 1890 et 1984, mais il n'est plus utilisé depuis 1984.
Depuis 2002 l'île n'est plus la propriété du ministère de la défense danois. Deux organisations danoises de Scoutisme, Det Danske Spejderkorps et KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark, ont acheté l'île en avril 2015 avec l'intention de développer l'île et son fort pour en faire un lieu que tous les jeunes danois puissent l'utiliser, pas seulement les scouts. Ungdomsøen ("l'île de la jeunesse") a justement ouvert ses portes en août 2019.
During a dark night we headed over to the Opera House having just arrived in town. Was very cold so didn't stay long. Seemed a bit dark and eerie.

Il s’agit d'une forteresse maritime à l'entrée du port au nord de la capitale danoise. Il est notamment connu pour avoir été l'un des hauts-lieux de la Bataille de Copenhague de 1801 et de l'attaque britannique de 1807. Son nom complet Trekroner Søfort signifie littéralement le fort marin des trois couronnes en l'honneur à l'un des trois navires stationnés sur l'île artificielle en 1713. C'est en 1787 que la construction d'un fort démarra. Après les lourdes batailles de 1801 et 1807, la forteresse est renforcée entre 1818 et 1828 puis en 1860.
À la suite de la Première Guerre mondiale, la vocation militaire de l'édifice disparait presque totalement. En 1934, le fort est vendu aux services du port de Copenhague. Le fort sera utilisé par l'occupant nazi pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La forteresse a été accessible au public à partir de 1984 grâce notamment au Canalbus de Copenhague (DFDS Canal Tours). Un restaurant s'y trouve. Juste derrière le fort, il y a un parc d'éoliennes dans l'Øresund à proximité de l'Øresundbro, le pont qui relie Copenhague à la Suède.

The Oslo Opera House (in Norwegian, Operahuset) is the seat of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballett, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The building lies in Bjørvika, in the center of Oslo, at the head of the Oslofjord.
Its dominating position made me think about the Sydney Opera House.
Its builder is Statsbygg, a government-run property owner, and architects were Norwegian architects Snøhetta, winning an international architecture competition with this design. The theatre designers are Theatre Projects Consultants based in the London office, the acoustic designers are BrekkeStrandArup, a joint venture between local consultant Brekke Strand Akustikk and international acousticians Arup Acoustics. Norwegian construction company Veidekke was awarded one of the largest building contracts of the project. The future user of the building will be the Norwegian National Opera.
The structure provides a total area of 38,500 m² spanning 1,100 rooms, one of which has 1,350 seats and one with up to 400 seats. The Opera House was finished in 2007 with the opening event held on Saturday April 12, 2008.

Da es am Vortag nicht geklappt hatte mit dem F4 602 wegen einem Wolkenschaden, versuchte ich mein Glück 24h später nochmals. Mit einer schönen Wolkenwand und dem Tyrifjord im Hintergrund rauscht die SLM Lok in Richtung Olso vorbei.
EL18 2242 ist mit dem Expresszug Rt67 aus Oslo auf der Bergensbanan in Richtung des namensgebenden Endpunktes unterwegs. Vor wenigen Minuten hat der Zug den Bahnhof von Ustaoset hinter sich gelassen.
Noch können die Fahrgäste Bäume aus dem Fenster erspähen, denn mit 990m ü. NN liegt der Streckenabschnitt entlang des Sees Ustevatnet noch knapp unterhalb der Baumgrenze. Anschließend steigt die Strecke noch weitere 300 Höhenmeter an, um die Hardangervidda - Europas größe Hochebene - zu durchqueren.
EL18 2242 is travelling with express train Rt67 from Oslo on the Bergensbanan in the direction of its namesake terminus. The train left Ustaoset station a few minutes ago.
Passengers can still see trees from the window, because at 990 metres above sea level, the section of track along Lake Ustevatnet is still just below the tree line. The route then climbs another 300 metres to cross the Hardangervidda - Europe's largest plateau.
Horses in the snow, as caught from the window of the Olso to Bergen train - came out surprisingly well.

Der Rt63(Oslo S - Bergen) hat vor wenigen Minuten den Bahnhof von Haugastøl verlassen und setzt, gezogen von EL18 2255, seine Reise an die norwegische Westküste fort.

Eine zweite Ansicht aus dem Unterirdischen BW Lodalen in Oslo. Wir sind in der kleinen Unterhaltsanlage für Loks. Es steht eine El17 neben einer El18. Die El17 wurden schon dieser Zeit - abgesehen vom Plandienst auf der Flamsbahn - nur mehr im Verschubdienst in Oslo eingesetzt.
