MAYBE a walk in the Wonderland Woods would lead you to this spot…or maybe not. Take your time, stop to read awhile, but most importantly—just dream!
Created for the Artistic Manipulation group's Challenge 52.
Our CHEF for MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #52 is Claudia Romanelli. Our mission is to create a manipulated and/or digital art image that uses her ingredients. If you win this challenge, you will become the CHEF who chooses the recipe next time! See the details below in Rule #8.
CHEF Claudia wants us to imagine a surrealistic vista!
➤ You must create a surrealistic autumn scene with falling leaves.
➤ Include one and only one four-wheeled vehicle (car, truck, SUV, etc.).
➤ Plus one and only one old book.
➤ And one or more clocks and/or clock parts.
➤ NO PEOPLE – but statues, sculptures, mannequins are okay.
The truck is from a Route 66 photo of mine, the other parts are mostly dreams from Pixabay.
This was actually after a spring snow, three days later it was 70°! This old beauty is actually part of a display of old vehicles on the edge of a small northern Illinois town....
I pulled over for this. Great place on Rt 12 in Plainfield, CT selling all sorts of stuff. Meet the Clampits! :)
Forgotten heavy duty International Harvester grain hauler coming back into view after being buried in the overgrowth at an abandoned northern Illinois farm....
Been driving by this vintage beauty at a local salvage farm for about 2 months now.Hoping someone will take this beauty on before the winter snows hit! HTT everyone and please pipe in on what model this is!

An old tow truck (as we call them in Australia), at Scotty's Garage at Upper Flagstone Creek showing plenty of age.
Misery loves company it would seem in this scene in tiny Woosung,IL. Or maybe, underneath a tree at a long abandoned house is a GOOD place to park an old truck....Have a great truck Thursday all!
At the angle I shot this, it looks as if the trees are in the back of the truck. A nice find while exploring my own backyard. :-)
Colorful vintage trucks in a row in Sprague, Washington in Lincoln County. Sprague is full of interesting scenes.
Well preserved snub nosed diesel; someone has applied fresh paint and put them out to pasture for display.
