one of my favourites. back of the rover factory and stood until it was knocked down last year. would have rocked harder had it been mulshed but still an amazing example of the first graf to hit my corner of Birmingham. if anyone has any info about who painted this (Squid - if you write Banksy i'm gonna laff, but i'll have to hunt you down and terminate you lol!) or remembers any of the history from back then (the 'Crunch', 'Bronx' and CAC (Crazy Art Crew) on the Turves Green power station, and the BCFC piece complete with monster character on the church etc..) then shout me up...
In slang, Old school (or Oldskool) can refer to anything that is from an earlier era. Pioneer KP-500 car stereo and a Proline GP-870XII graphic equalizer booster and Pioneer PT-6 tweeter was dubbed as the King of the road in the Philippines during the 80's.
this is sooooo good on so many levels. the break up of the letters is well advanced and the character is a beauty... any ideas who this was?
Painting my daughters name again. An early start [6:30] to try and beat the rain.... FAIL. But we did have the good sense to paint near the bridge for cover if it did rain.
And it rained, then it stopped, then in rained, then it stopped. etc etc etc.
The good thing about having to shelter from the rain, it gives you time to skin up. A lot.
Eventually got back in the car at 5pm shattered.
Really enjoyed what we painted today. 3 different colour mulshes to muck about with. drips & flicks of paint. Never had so much fun mulshing up.
awesome chrome action.. think this one is still there behind the steel fence they thoughtfully erected to preserve it.. : )
