I don't remember exactly where this was taken. I keep a log of where I start each day, and I started in Sparks Nevada and ended the day in Ontario California. So I'm pretty sure this is off US-395 somewhere near the Nevada-California stateline. Over the years I'm sure I've driven this route more than a dozen times. This was back in July 2012.

Another shot I took on my walk yesterday, not exactly a sign but I thought it was interesting, its actually one of the numbers on a telephone or power poll, but rotated here

I was on the way home about dark from one of the worst days I've ever had trackside. A quick U turn yielded this...

This is a cute little white house on the corner turned ice cream parlor, with the carousel horse outside, and everything inside about the carousel horses or ice cream. So cute! I counted 37 flavors of ice cream and 2 yogurts for the health conscious. Tho I personally feel that you should just go for it! Which we did, choosing Toasted Coconut, Death by Chocolate, Salted Caramel Pretzel Crunch and Cherry Vanilla. So worth a stop, and bring your camera!
What if you were sitting on the floor on Grandma’s attic, going through old albums? And what if you found this faded old photo of a long-ago trip to Paris? Wouldn’t you want to walk along the Rue Moufftard just to see if you could find a place where people used to bowl? I would!

Todays challenge for the daily shoot was Find something that's so old it's almost timeless and make a photograph of it.
I think this falls into the category OK, but not 100% sure, what do you all think
I found this old sign hanging on an old shed----I like the textures and color of the sign and of the old shed------hope you like it too!
