Walking around the old quarter of Georgetown, Penang, is always a pleasure. There are colours and sights even at night. And the food is good!

Built on slopes of the Rif Mountains, the old medina of Chefchaouen is full of narrow streets that are waiting to be explored and photographed.

La Casa de la Inquisición está situada junto a la Iglesia de la Encarnación. Barrio histórico de Alhama de Granada, precioso lugar que bien merece una visita. Cerca, se encuentran los famosos baños de aguas termales, Al-Hammam” “Baños” o “Manantial de agua caliente”.Alhama de Granada
Santillana del mar fue el punto de comienzo del Camino de Santiago que iniciamos el pasado octubre siguiendo la ruta del llamado Camino del Norte, quizás la primera utilizada por los peregrinos que provenientes de Europa, se dirigían a la tumba del Apostol Santiago, hasta que reconquistadas las tierras castellanas, la ruta del Camino Francés, más fácil y ya segura ante posibles ataques de los musulmanes, se convirtió en el principal eje de peregrinación y entrada en la península de la cultura existente al otro lado de los pirineos.
La foto está tomada con el móvil poco antes del anochecer, momento en que la luz existente me complicaba el uso de la cámara sin trípode y donde la del teléfono suele comportarse bastante bien.
Procesada posteriormente con Lightroom he tratado de reproducir lo más fielmente posible los colores y esa triste luz crepuscular que no obstante mantiene cierto encanto.

Walking around the old quarter in Barcelona, with its narrow and dark streets, due to their medieval origin, I came across two unusual elements: two comfortable armchairs. I decided they were worth a photograph, so I shot. From the beginning I knew it would be a bit of a failure because the light on the right would become the main focus (does it?). However, I'm pleased about the result. I decided it had to be in monochrome, and the image is slightly grained. Please, pay attention to the windows and the arch, they are also typical in the zone.
By the way, I'm very busy currently, and I don't have the time to comment on your captures. I can only take a brief look at them. The same with the photos in the groups I joined. The situation will change soon, I hope.
