A hot market has spurred the revamping of numerous high-end properties in the Old Pasadena district by St. Pete. Previously photographed when painted all-over white, this Mediterranean Revival mansion has been repainted with black detailing.

Harley Davidson motorcycle parked on Fair Oaks Ave. 2 1/2 blocks S. of Colorado Blvd, next to Central Park, in Old Pasadena. Dozens of motorcycles and their riders congregated in Central Park for a fun get together.

Spurred by a red-hot market, several grand properties in the Old Pasadena district near St. Pete have been transformed. When I photographed this Mediterranean Revival mansion a couple of years ago, it was painted ochre and looked frayed at the edges, giving it a very Italian look. Duly revamped, it looks fresh but less characterful in this salmon pink paint scheme.
