This is my old ponny plushy. Costumized her sign. Well if you don't know what it is I can tell you. =P That's a cloud and a rainbow on it. [No, I couldn't think anything better then that.. +___+] Now she looks like new. ^__^
The typewriter is the heart of the whole MOC. This is the second and already final design. It matches the old Remington typewriter quite well. Lovecraft bought one typewriter and used it for the rest of his live. He didn’t like it though, because it was ‘modern technology’.
But he could easily spend 3 hours in a shop to find the perfect fountain pen for him.

This is my first collaboration with Jonas, better known as Legopard . Together with the Fisherman we meet once a month. In one of your last meetings, I mentioned Lovecraft’s typewriter. After I realized how terrible old I am and how young Jonas is, I explained to him what a typewriter is, hahaha.
For our next meeting, and for the MOC Athalon, he came up with a terrific minifig typewriter .
I was so excited by his design that I had to steal and modify it.
This study is purely fictional. Here we can see Mr. Lovecraft receiving a strange artifact – something he can incorporate into his next horror story.
Working together with Jonas means that this is a purist creation, so the curtains are red sails and as a result, I couldn’t use sand green bricks for the wallpaper. The sand red wallpaper looks a bit feminine, but that is okay, since Lovecraft lived with his aunts after he returned to Providence.

I couldn’t resist building a vintage telephone, though this is completely inaccurate. Lovecraft wasn’t very fond of modern technology. He never owned a phone.

Although there was electric light in Lovecraft’s real study, I decided to go with a classic chandelier. I’m sure Mr. Lovecraft would have appreciated it, an old school gentleman that he was.

There was indeed a candlestick in Lovecraft’s real study (though it looked different). And what is that? A copy of the Necronomicon.

The typewriter is the heart of the whole MOC. This was my first typewriter design based on Jonas’ work. I liked it already, but I wanted it to look closer to the model Lovecraft (probably) owned.
