The Alte Feste (Old Fortress) in Windhoek was built in 1915 and served as head quarters of the imperial German Schutztruppe. It's now a museum.

I added a fresh coat of paint to the walls and shutters…in Lightroom.

😊

Yasha Jakovsky: “How do you feel now?”

Wacky Chucky: “Wow, I feel cool and powerful like John Rambo

We should filmed sequel to the movie Commando.

I will swipe my enemies like a tornado

We need to shot action movie in Hokkaido.”

Yasha Jakovsky: “Holy fuck! It’s a good line Chuck…

But because of your silly rhymes we are losing precious time.

Wacky Chucky: “I have even better new line for our movie: “I am relentless like a villain Ming the Merciless. Killing is like an addiction, my favorite torturing method is crucifixion.

Yasha Jakovsky: “Can you please just stick to the script.”

Wacky Chucky: “Ok, you are so strict.

You never let me have any fun, I am ready now with my Soviet Automatic Gun.

Kalashnikov rifle is number one.

Art is in my heart, someday I will act in a blockbuster

Together with Aaron Eckhart.

Yasha Jakovsky: “Chucky for Christ’s sake, you're making me a headache. Holy Jeez, can we finally start our client filming please?”

Wacky Chucky: “Wait, I need to fart… Now we can start.”

Yasha Jakovsky: “Roll camera action.”

Wacky Chucky: “Warfare gives me satisfaction

I am a way scarier than yeti

This fortress scene looks more exciting

Than cult cinematic Western Spaghetti.

I was born ready like Eddie 'The Beast' Hall

My gun is always steady for enemy

Foe’s troops better run to the hill or I will kill 'em all

I would be a great deadly duo with MI6 agent Cammy.”

Yasha Jakovsky: “Cut! You suck!

Wacky Chucky: “What the fuck?”

If you don't calm down I'll kick your butt.

I have the most powerful uppercut.

Yasha Jakovsky: “You improvised the script again, you are causing me pain.”

Marquis de Sade: ”Frustrated Chucky left a film set while he was singing Symphony of Destruction a brilliant song from Megadeth.”

The End

P.s. This is the song that Chucky sung, good morning everybody on Earth & planet Mars :o).

This is small part of a fantasy story: The Old & Untold Story Of The Forgotten Glory

Azazel’s narration (Fallen angel - The devilish narrator): “One day old and ill prophet Benedictus warned the king before he passed away.”

Prophet Benedictus: “My visions from last night were terrifying. In my scrying I have seen pain, misery and crying, after the brutal assault many people were dying. The times of peace and harmony are past, it’s good while it lasts. Prepare well for somber days, it would be a living hell. From far away east it would came humongous flying beast, its malefic action will bring chaos, agony & destruction…”

Azazel’s narration: “Confidently king didn’t believe.”

King Lewenhart: ”Really? Even if this silly devil comes my brave warriors will crush it easily.”

Benedictus: “I ain’t telling you jokes nor lies, with my own clairvoyant eyes I saw fear, anguish and affliction. My king I swear on Zeus's name, we need to do something or our kingdom will be burned in flame.”

Lewenhart: “Don't you think you exaggerate? It sound like a great fantasy fable about opening the hell's gate. Gods has decided our path. I believe in good fate.”

Benedictus: “We need to prepare defense before it would be too late...”

P.s. Benedictus recommend you a song Cannata - Fortune Teller.

A photo dedicated to Ronnie James Dio & band Rainbow

In the later afternoon hour I visited old tower. It is a place that I visited first time in a childhood, it was a carefree time when my hero was Robin Hood. Anyway it is good to be back here after so many years, in my eyes I had tears of joy, I was happy as a little boy. After 45 minutes of hard walking you get a reward, a fantastic panorama view. I enjoyed while drinking Mountain Dew. I prepared to do a photo of this nice location together with gorgeous old tree that was decorated with various color lights. But wait what happened… Stars are coming closer, they can walk, and I heard they even talk!

Blue star: Howdy sport, this old fort is our home you are welcome anytime, my hobby is to speak in rhyme, my art name is mr. Dime. Btw my real name is Dane, I adore Spain. I was in Barcelona, it is pretty city. Yasha: Nice to meet you all. My name is Yasha, I love Russia.

Red star: Hey buddy, my name is Maddy, I was a champion in ping-pong. What is your favorite song? I love rap song Come With Me from Puff Daddy? Yasha: I love many songs I can’t choose just one but for you I recommend Dio - Born On The Sun.

Green star: Hi pal, my name is Alfred, you can call me Al. I used to sing choral music in church. Do you have cigarette Pall Mall? Yasha: No I don’t, I never smoke.

All stars danced & sung together: liar lier pants on fire. Yasha: I really never tried cigarette, don’t bet you will lose.

White star: Mate my name is Kate, this was fate that we meet for the last day of old year. You can see my relatives on the flag of United States of America. Yasha: You guys are nuts.

All stars sung together: We are nuts and we are crazy about peanuts, do you have any in your pocket? Yasha: Unfortunately I don’t have any, next time I will bring you many.

Yellow star: Mamma mia, I am Adelina, I was born in Italy in Messina. Dear friend I don’t want that our friendship ever end. Yasha: Me neither. Let’s make a photo of you all together so I can have it forever as a nice memory. Stars agreed.

All stars together: We wish you happy New Year and nice weekend. Yasha: I wish you the same from my heart.

After photo session I turn away for a few seconds and I looked one more time to fantastic view on Adriatic Sea. When I look back to the old stone walls I couldn’t see any of my friend stars. Maybe they felt stress so they were hiding because some hikers entered inside the old fortress. Perhaps it was just my dream or imagination, maybe this conversation never happened but on the other hand I have this photo as evidence. It is pity that you couldn’t see in real playful stars dance.

P.s. This is a riddle that I can't explain, I hope I am not insane, I wish to see this stars again.

I wish happy New Year everybody on planet earth & planet Mars. I recommend you 2 songs: Rainbow - Stargazer, Bob Catley - The Tower.

The Castillo de San Marcial de Rubicón, de las Coloradas or Torre del Águila is a defensive tower located in the town of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza on the island of Lanzarote.

The building has a circular shape with an area of 280 square meters. The interior is accessed via an ashlar staircase that leads to a drawbridge made of tea wood. It houses several rooms. the dungeon, the gunpowder warehouse, the troop dormitory and various rooms. In the esplanade area and on the wall, a small bell tower stands presided over by a cross.

It is considered a "twin" of other defense towers such as the Torre de San Andrés in Tenerife; the towers of Gando and San Pedro, in Gran Canaria and the castles of El Cotillo and Fuste, in Fuerteventura.

There is something magical about the old fortress and the mist coming from the water at the end of the day.

The Contrafossa in the Old Fortress in Corfu.

The Old Fortress was built on an artificial islet with fortifications surrounding its entire perimeter. It was built initially during Byzantine times, but in the 15th century the Venetians replaced the old fortifications. They built bastions, winding galleries and tunnels. The fortress has been cut off from the land proper by a defensive moat, the famous contrafossa, measuring 15 m deep and from 23 to 40 m wide. In the 16th century, the erection of all the defensive structures, designed by Venetian architect Michele Sanmicheli, was completed. From ca. 1500 onwards, the fortified islet was used as a military and administrative centre, and was the key to the city's defense.

In 1386 Corfu fell under Venetian sovereignty which lasted for 400 years of stability. The importance of Corfu's position to the Venetians as well as repeated enemy threats, led to the fortification of the town, a major undertaking, which started in the 15th century and continued until the 18th century, when Venetian rule ended. The fortifications, initially the Old Fortress and later the walls that enclosed the town and the New Fortress, were strong enough to withstand Turkish raids in 1537, 1571, 1573 and 1716, thus foiling the Turks attempts to overrun Europe.

St Mawes Castle (Cornish: Kastel Lannvowsedh) and its larger sister castle, Pendennis, were built as part of a defensive chain of fortresses by Henry VIII to protect the south coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.

St Mawes is a small town opposite Falmouth, on the Roseland Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies on the east bank of the Carrick Roads, a large waterway created after the Ice Age from an ancient valley which flooded as the melt waters caused the sea level to rise dramatically, creating an immense natural harbour, often claimed to be the third largest in the world. It was once a busy fishing port, but the trade declined during the 20th century and it now serves as a popular tourist location, with many properties in the town functioning as holiday accommodation. The town is in the civil parish of St Just in Roseland.

A year-round ferry provides a service to Falmouth, which is less than a mile away by boat, but due to its proximity to the Fal estuary it is some 30 miles (48 km) away by road.

Kerkyra (Corfu).

Ionian Islands. Greece

This is the northern (Gulf of Kerkyra) end of Corfu (Κέρκυρα), Greece's Contrafossa, which is a moat built during the Kanoni Peninsula's Venetian rule (1286-1797). The Contrafossa's length is 310.6 meters (339.7 yards). By building the Contrafossa (a canal that connects the Corfu Channel's Gulf of Kerkyra on its north with the Corfu Channel's Bay of Garitsa on its south), the Venetians converted the promontory on a peninsula into a fortified island. I took this photo on March 19, 2017.

This is the view from the hilltops of Kanoni and perhaps the most symbolic of Corfu and definitely a postcard image. The Old Fortress - Kerkyra - Corfu, Greece.

The old city of Corfu grew up within fortifications, and this 15th-century Venetian Old Fortress used to be the centerpiece of what they consider precious ground made up of a maze of narrow cobblestoned streets. The fortress is separated from the land proper by an artificial defensive moat.

Because of its two castles (new and old), Corfu has also become known as a Kastropolis or Castle City.
