Here are the last pictures I took of our beloved Cosmo the cat taken during the months of March and April 2023 at home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He did not make his 17th birthday in early May with his passing at the end of April 2023, and simply put, it took nearly a year to load these pictures. He was a fantastic cat and a member of this family.

This is my kitty. He's been in the family for about 17 years thus far, making him an old cat. He was the kitten of a stray cat my mom had been feeding for a while. We gave two of his siblings away, and then he and his brother came to stay with us (his mother had died before we moved--we took the two remaining kitties with us). His brother passed away a few years ago, but Face is still with us and as healthy as old kitties get.
You heard it, Face. Story will be explained later.

Difficult subject: gray cat, bright sunshine. Aside from the contrast, there was absolutely no hope of getting him to keep his eyes open. ("Getting...sooooo...sleeeeepy.")
Shadow definitely enjoyed the sunshine today.
The camera was close. She was stationary. And we were leaving to see The Hunger Games in a few minutes.
1991-2005.
I'm copying some old photos from a geocities site I set up several years ago. The camera card with the originals is damaged--so this is what's left.
Poor girl had 6 back molars removed. She had a bad case of gingivitus!Maybe now she will eat. I've been trying to photo her nose. She used to be one tough cat and it shows.
